This young Estonian striker signed with Spartak on his third visit to the team's location. - What did you do for half a year while waiting for permission to play for Spartak?

- "Trance" from Narva offered me a five-year contract. But how can you play in Estonia for such a long time. And the offer of the Tallinn “Real”, to which I belonged, to rent me for another six months, “Trans” did not suit. So I had to return to Real Madrid. Played a little this season - only four matches. Scored twenty goals.

- How much?

I don’t confuse. Twenty. Mostly from free kicks and after going one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Twenty goals scored is a normal result, and not at all some kind of achievement. After all, “Real” plays in the fifth Estonian league. They generally don't know how to play football.

- Why didn't they find a more serious team for rent in Estonia?

Initial career stage

Tarmo Kink was born on October 6, 1985 in Tallinn, he was an unremarkable little Estonian boy, frail and shy. One could not even suspect that over time he would become one of the brightest Estonian footballers, and that he would also be drawn to everything Russian, his purebred Estonian. Until the age of 15, Tarmo played football at the TJK (Tallinn Football Club- this is the original name), and in 2001 he began to play in the amateur club "Real" Tallinn. The young striker was immediately noticed and called for rent to higher-status clubs: FC Viimsi and Trans Narva.

“Spartak” was eager to quickly get the young Estonian striker, but at that time there was a UEFA ban on transfers of foreign players under 18, so Tarmo patiently waited for the transfer to be formalized. Kink has no doubts that he made the right decision, although he did not know how it would be in Russia, and "Trans" offered him a good five-year contract. Troubled times reigned in “Spartak” at that time, dozens of low-class players replaced each other, but Kink was well received, because he already had some kind of language base, thanks to “Trance”. At that time he became very close friends with Roman Shishkin, Dima Torbinsky, as well as Gubin and Danishevsky, now missing from sight. All played together for the Spartak double, went to the leaders of their championship, but the club was based on incomprehensible foreigners. Tarmo also wanted to study at a Russian institute, so he quickly mastered the language and culture, but I just don’t know if he managed to go there in the end.

Tarmo in his very first year at Spartak became the top scorer of the doubles tournament, but he was still not particularly admitted to the main team. For 3 years he played only 2 matches for the base of “Spartak”, once came on as a substitute against “Mallorca” in the UEFA Cup. Naturally, no one wants to sit in the double for 3 years, so one day Tarmo took his things and left for Estonia. Having a valid contract with the team, the footballer left it on his own, for this he could be disqualified. But “Spartacus” acted nobly and simply broke the contract with Kink.

Return to Estonia

No one believed that after three years of inactivity, Tarmo would be able to return to a high level, but nevertheless, Levadia Tallinn signed a contract with a player who was in the status of a free agent and, by the way, was right. Tarmo immediately showed by his game that he learned a lot in Russia, they began to attract him to the games of the main Estonian national team (now he has 42 matches on his account), and soon Tarmo Kink became indispensable in the Tallinn club.

Hungary

Kink could have left Levadia earlier, for example, in 2008, when the Romanian Gloria offered 200 thousand euros for him. A little later, he was on trial at De Graafschap, where a neck injury prevented him from signing a full-fledged contract.
