• Sergey Oreshkin is the head coach of Dynamo in the VHL. Oreshkin was hospitalized

    27.09.2021

He will not work with the blue and white next season and only some achievement could save him, it was clear a long time ago. He could also leave the club in the middle of the season.

For one of the trainings, players "Dynamo" we rode already confident that the team would change the coach. There was a protracted series of defeats, the hockey players were unhappy with what they were forced to do on the ice, the head coach could not reach the veterans in any way and relied on the young, who, however, were still damp.

But at the meeting, not a word was said about the changes, the general manager said that the financial issue was being resolved, and he expects the team to fight on the ice.

If not for the wage debt, then Oreshkina would have been removed, - one of the team's hockey players admits. - But it was a difficult time, besides, it is still unknown whether the money would be paid, so there was no point in changing anything.

But the most interesting thing happened a little later. The team, where the players already admitted without smiles that they might not make the playoffs, suddenly began to win. Nothing has changed, but victories have come. Nobody could explain anything.

There was a strange atmosphere in the dressing room after the matches.

We won, but I don’t understand how we did it - this is the most frequent comment “not for the press” from many Dynamo players. - We are doing everything wrong, we have absolutely ugly hockey, we do not enjoy the game, and the points are gone.

Sergey Oreshkin perked up and associated victories with his style of work, although this was not entirely true. The fact is that the head coach's assistants began to take responsibility for themselves and change something, both in the training process and in tactics.

We gave up long sessions and switched to intense workouts of 45 minutes, -

Why did you play some combinations for the majority in training, and during the matches produced completely different ones? - I did not lag behind.

Vorobiev he was embarrassed and said that in the season everyone had to play in unequal compositions so that later in the event of someone's injuries there would be no problems. But it is clear that this was just a correct departure from a truthful answer.

Oreshkin wanted to leave by himself

Sergey Oreshkin achieved impressive results with, worked with, but was unauthorized for. True, he worked a little in the VHL - he was quickly promoted. But do you remember how he came to the first team? After leaving, the team breathed more freely, because it was not in vain that former coach there was such a nickname, which cannot be printed.

Oreshkin calmed the guys down, turning out to be a completely harmless person, and this was enough for the end of the last regular season. But not in the playoffs. However, he was given a chance to prove himself from pre-season training.

And then it turned out that Oreshkina totally strange tastes. He gave a chance to the young, but when they let the team down, he did not draw any conclusions about the players, and mostly veterans suffered. They put me on a bench, quickly gave up, with whom the situation is not so clear. Yes, he played badly, but there were objective reasons for that. It is completely incomprehensible why they invited and.

In some moment Oreshkin And he himself asked to return him to the MHL or VHL, but his wishes were not satisfied, and then he himself withdrew the requirements, since the salary in the first team is several times different from what he could earn at a lower level. But by the new year it became clear that he would no longer be in the KHL.

Who instead of him? a very unpredictable person, in addition, you must understand that the life of the club itself is not stable and maybe other people will appoint a coach.

Now the main favorite is. Probably, he has the highest chances, and he worked much more efficiently than himself Sergey Oreshkin... But there is talk that the club can return and even. They say that Kudashova now they will never be released from Yaroslavl, but it remains to be seen whether he wants to stay on his own.

But Andrey Safronov may surprise. More precisely, not he, but those people who will start giving money and want to offer their candidacy.

Head coach Moscow Dynamo Sergei Oreshkin in an interview with the site told about work with youth, team reserves and his coaching principles.

On the eve of 2016, Dynamo Moscow decided to change its head coach, and Sergei Oreshkin took over from Kharijs Vitolins. He managed to stabilize the team's game, climb with it in standings regular season and reach the second round of the playoffs. In addition to sports results, the 53-year-old specialist shook up the team's composition: Oreshkin attracted a large number of young hockey players to play for Dynamo. The blue and white enter the new season with a focus on youth, which, however, does not negate the club's ambitious goals.

It was a revelation that I was offered to become a head coach

Was the previous year the most eventful year for you in your coaching career? Appointment of the head coach of Balashikha "Dynamo", and six months later already acting. in the main team ...

Naturally, it was a revelation for me that I was offered the position of head coach. Thanks to the management for their trust, this is the main thing. Every coach wants to reach the top and do his job to the maximum. If you love her and are ready for her, then any coach should succeed.

    - When you came, was there an urgent need to take action?

There was no need to take any special steps. If you work with professionals, they perfectly understand what the coach wants from them.

This offseason, young Andrei Mironov received the captain's armband. Are there any chances that he will lead the team with her in the season?

Now we are preparing. We will solve everything together, we have a team. We'll probably vote, as always. If the young man has confidence, why can't he be the captain? "Guys" should help to grow, because everyone understands that the place of the coach is sacred, and the player is never empty. If you fell out of it a little bit - give the place to someone else.

Dynamo did not make any high-profile acquisitions. However, there is certainly a task to perform better than last season. Where are you going to look for reserves?

It is important that the team unites as quickly as possible. And so that every player who is on our team understands what we are striving for. And if one was wrong, others should support him.

    - Are you ready to forgive the mistakes of the young?

Depends on what. Everyone makes mistakes in their work: veterans, middle-aged players, and the younger generation. You just need to understand them and correct them, then there are no problems.

    - Are such acquisitions as Sopin, Rylov intended to replace the veterans who left in order to maintain a balance in the team?

You know, the word balance here, maybe more refers to the young. They must fight, fight and win their place. And these guys with KHL experience should fit into the team well and help it. Of course, they will also perform mentoring functions.

    - Last year, Yuri Babenko was a playing coach. What was his role?

It was contact with the players. Every veteran who has gone this way and won two cups understands what is required of him. Similarly, Nikulin, Tereshchenko, Kashpar, Eremenko are veterans, some of them are world champions, and I think that they understand the extent of their responsibility.

    - Who can you single out among the young at the moment?

There are a lot of guys. A good generation, with whom I started working since 2011. Now they include Shipov, Mironov, Fedorov, Pilipenko, Igumnov, Alekseev, Bryukvin, Shevchenko, Baranov - there are a lot of guys there. They need to endure, work and wait for their chance and growth.

    - Will you have time to closely follow the VHL and MHL teams during the season?

I always have time. It just needs to be planned correctly, that's all.

From you, as a foreigner, one thing is required: the result

Your biography, even on the Internet, is far from fully covered. In the 90s, you left for Hungary, trained there, and then it only talks about 2011, when you came to the Dynamo system. Can you fill in the gaps?

In Hungary, I finished playing and coached. Helped the national team, worked with the adult team. I was doing my favorite thing, nothing else. Then in 2011 Andrey Nikolaevich Safronov invited me to work. I didn't think much. I decided to try to do what I love, but at home.

    - There was also a stage when you were engaged in business. Did you leave hockey at this time?

Yes, it was. But everything I did was related to hockey.

-How useful was your experience in Hungary?

I went there as a player. From you, as a foreigner, one thing is required: the result. Just like any foreign coach who works in Europe. There you need a result, you work only for him.

The European lifestyle is a little different from ours. For about a year I had to rebuild, and then everything went fine. I understand the tasks that are being set here, and the guys, because the foreign mentality and the mentality of Russia differ slightly in this.

    - Is there a united hockey league with several countries?

Yes, she has always been and is there. Earlier there were Austrians, Slovenes and Slovaks.

This year, the first Hungarian referee, Peter Gebei, appeared in the KHL. Can you explain yourself to him in Hungarian if anything happens?

I know Peter, he was a good defender. I played at the national team level. He is a very responsible guy, he approaches his job correctly. I talked with him in May at the tournament.

I try to eliminate negativity - there is a lot of it in life.

    - You worked a lot with young people in the Dynamo system. For five years, what have you celebrated for yourself?

It can be seen that there are a lot of talented guys. They, like any young athlete, need a special approach and explanation. The first is in terms of life. I have always put the main question of attitude to life. Then comes the attitude towards yourself as an athlete, and in third place is the attitude towards work. This is the main thing. All the guys saw that the VHL team showed very good result- broke all league records for all the time. The young guys felt that they had a chance to get to the top, to reach the peaks.

Andrey Safronov noted last season that one of the differences between coach Oreshkin and Vitolins is a certain human factor. How can you explain this factor yourself?

It is rather necessary to find out from Andrey Nikolaevich. But every day I ask myself what I am doing and how, and then I transfer it to work. Basically, I always work on the positive, the negative, and so much in our life, a lot. I try to eliminate this, starting with myself and ending with the team.

You said that, like Oleg Znarok, you prefer hard workers to stars in your team. How realistic is it now to win "hard workers"? The examples of recent years show that stars are still needed.

Any hard worker can become a star. If you work correctly, complete tasks and strive for your goal, fall asleep and wake up with such thoughts, then everything can be achieved - even the greatest peaks. It all depends on the person.

At what age is a hockey player able to move to the highest level of the MHL - VHL - KHL system - to play in the main team?

If a person at the age of 18-19 is a professional, then what can prevent it? Plus, if there is data, nature has endowed, then he can achieve a lot. Remember all our hockey: both Fetisov and Larionov were young, talented and had the same attitude to their work.

    - Do you approve of the clause in the regulations that clubs must include young players?

I did not focus on this. I always look after the young. Each young man is the future of the team, the future of Dynamo. It goes without saying that without veterans and experienced players it is not so easy to create a team, but it is not easy without the young and talented, who must always bring fresh blood.

    - Is there someone from the older generation of coaches whom you studied with, whose work did you pay more attention to?

A lot of those. Vladimir Vladimirovich Yurzinov, Viktor Vasilyevich Tikhonov. There is always someone to learn from and someone to imitate. In general, it has always been my opinion that you need to learn every day and find something new. And then all this must be transferred to work. Even in a team of professionals, a coach must be an educator, this is one of the points.

    - Since joining the KHL, there is more publicity, more interest in you. Doesn't it interfere?

I don't pay attention to it. I try to get away from this. There is a job of mine that I need to do, for which I must be responsible and for which they will be asked. There is a team with a very long past and a great present, I have to relate to this not 100%, but 1000% in everything, including this.

    - What are the three main qualities you value in players?

In all people, I appreciate: the first is a Human, the second is an athlete and the third is a professional. The fourth is already hockey, because this is the work that they must do to the maximum. Hockey and life are inseparable.
