Story
Despite the more than seventy-year history of the club, Siberians cannot boast of great achievements in Soviet football. Founded in 1936 in Novosibirsk football club“Burevestnik”, although he subsequently changed six titles during his performance in the lower leagues of the USSR championship, never achieved serious success. The team played first in the "B" class of Soviet football, then, after the reorganization of the football economy, in the second division of the USSR championship. For the time being, they successfully coped with the task of not turning into amateurs again, and, it seems, they did not set any special goals for raising their class. However, once Novosibirsk residents were excluded from the number of participants in the second division for low sports results. It happened in 1984 ... However, three years later, “Chkalovets” (that is what the Novosibirsk team was called then) returned to the number of participants in a football show in the country, but even before playing a supporting role, it was still far away.
The collapse of the USSR and the next changes in Russian football allowed the Siberians to make their debut in the first league of the national championship in the "East" zone, but if in its first season the team soared to fourth place, then in the second it dropped to fourteenth and returned to its original positions. However, it took Novosibirsk only a season to return to the first division, in which they, however, again held out for only two years. In 1996, the team, having finished last in the first league, again received a ticket for a demotion in the class. The return of Novosibirsk to the second ranked division had to wait for eight long years.
One season out of these eight the team even spent among amateurs, but in 2004, having won the zonal tournament in the second league, "Chkalovets-1936" returned to the first division. The team finished the 2005 season in tenth place, after which it got its current name - “Siberia”. Then there was the seventh place in 2006, the third - in 2005. It seemed that next year the Siberians would be able to step into major league, but that was not the case: the team failed the season, finishing in fourteenth place, one point from the relegation zone to the second league.
However, the correct conclusions were drawn from the fiasco of the 2008 sample, and the following year the team, having passed exactly the distance of the championship, became the second and issued an exit to the Premier League. In the 2010 season "Siberia" under the leadership of Igor Kriushenko will make its debut in the top division of the national championship.
The Premier League test turned out to be too serious for the Novosibirsk team. Having failed the beginning of the season, “Siberia” quickly found itself at the very bottom standings, only in the twelfth round did the Novosibirsk team manage to be outside the relegation zone. Despite the fact that the club scored only twenty points in thirty matches, Kriushenko's players won the fans' love for their character and desire to fight to the end, even in already lost meetings. Instead of Kriushenko, Dmitry Cheryshev, who worked in the academy of Real Madrid, turned out to be the helmsman of the Novosibirsk team.
