The footballer was born on November 21, 1993 in Balashikha in the family of an entrepreneur and a housewife. His parents moved to the Moscow region from Sukhumi after the outbreak of the military conflict between Georgia and Abkhazia, and Balashikha became the homeland for Georgy and his younger brother. Georgy Dzhikia - the story of a football player.

It so happened that, having been born in the capital, Georgy eventually had to move with his family to Balashikha near Moscow. It was there, at the age of six, that a young Dzhikia Georgy started playing football at the local sports school "Victoria". At the age of ten, the athlete entered the Lokomotiv Moscow football school, and upon reaching the age of majority, he signed his first professional contract with the same club.

It was difficult for the young footballer to break into the base, and he played for the Lokomotiv-2 backup squad, for which he played 64 matches, having distinguished himself 2 times. - We had something similar. Maybe I didn't understand some things, but the coaching staff sees everything. When we were reviewing the game with Qatar, the moments from the series “This is why we are preparing!” The same is, for example, in the situation with goals: "If it were not for the mistake here, then nothing would have happened."

- Was Cherchesov angry after Qatar? How was the next day?

- I went through as usual - the players who did not take part in the match had a load. The rest have restorative procedures. In the evening, it all ended with a thorough analysis of the game. The theory lasted one and a half to two hours, we managed to see all the moments. And they did not make many mistakes with the Romanians.

- Do you remember Qatar for something?

- When we were on the bus, we saw that everything was being built, everything was very solid. The only thing is to train very hot. In Perm then it was minus ten, and in Qatar - plus thirty. When I came back, I got into minus 20 in general.

- Many considered your call to the national team as an attempt to close the issue with the Georgian Football Federation. If now an offer comes from Georgia, what will you do?

- What to do! I communicate with people who are waiting for me to come. But I have personal circumstances: I am not yet ready to change my passport and become a legionnaire in Russia. This was discussed with Hajiyev, he said that if Idov and I play for other teams, problems with the squad will begin. And if we cease to be in demand at Amkar, then it will be difficult to get into the top club. With a Russian passport, the chances are 5 times greater. Now we need to finish well the season with Amkar - and then, perhaps, serious proposals will appear.

- Do you have any relatives in Georgia?

- Sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts - a lot of relatives. Mostly in Tbilisi, but I have never been there.

- What is the most delicious Georgian dish?

- When I come home once a month, there is almost everything on the table - my mother pampers. My favorites are Megrelian khachapuri, satsivi and meat. Georgians do khinkali in a day or two.

- They say that at the Lokomotiv school, footballer Dzhikia was rather plump. This is true?

- And not only in Lokomotiv - he was plump everywhere. I may not eat at all - the weight will not fall anyway.

- Dmitry Kudryashov from Spartak-2 suffered with extra pounds throughout his career. I came up with a diet: for two weeks I drank only water and did not eat anything.

- I have never had such that I did not eat anything. If they said that I had to throw it off, I ate some ordinary things. How can you come after a workout and not eat? And before the workout too ... Yes, and before the workout to throw something - that's the thing ... Just kidding, calm down!

- When Fernando arrived at Spartak, he was eight kilograms overweight.

- It's okay yet! The man came after the vacation!

- But not from Georgia.

- How do you know? Maybe just from there. I also had 4 kilograms - it usually happens after a vacation. And so there is always an extra kilo - somewhere behind it dangles.

- The coaches on the way to McDonald's never tracked you down?

- We always went to McDonald's, we go and we will go! Take "Big Tasty", then finish off with potatoes - and that's fine. Are you going to write all this? Then write "laughs" or something!

- Alan Chochiev said that he and Kokorin had a friend who stopped by the Lokomotiv academy in a convertible and rolled them around the territory. Did such characters meet in your time?

- We didn't have such. All the majors were trained in Cherkizovo, we are ordinary guys in Perovo. I joined Lokomotiv-2 in 2003. I found the Champions League - I went to Monaco, Inter. And in the Russian championship we served balls. I remember that the game with "Rostov" was served - then I was next to Semin's bench.

- “Take off your mittens”?

- No, it was warm then! At one point, the ball went out-of-bounds. I have another in my hands, you need to throw it to the player - that's all. And for some reason I followed the second one. Then Loskov runs up: "Ball, ball, ball!" I stop. He shouts: "Ball, ... [damn], come on!" My hands are shaking - I can’t do anything. In the end, he took the ball himself, and then I went after that.

There was also a story with Alexei Polyakov - he was then a base for several matches. Lokomotiv doctor Yardoshvili gives me a bottle and says: "Throw Polyakov out the gate." I put it on - and five years later we played together for Loko-2. But I not only gave him water - we also went to McDonald's. Once at the base there were problems with food, and we had a check-in. Polyakov is like: "Maybe let's go" there "- show me what it is?" So he said - "there." They went out, caught a car for 100 rubles - and drove off.

- Polyakov still asked to "go there"?

- He stopped by one hundred percent after training! Because when Polyakov ate this double cheeseburger, he was the happiest person on Earth!

- When you were at Lokomotiv-2, did you see Smorodskaya?

- There was a case. Bilich invited me and Artem Popov to train. We arrived in Bakovka, greeted Smorodskaya and Bilich. The coach greeted us very warmly. Then we went to change. In 5 minutes we return - Smorodskaya is sitting, Bilich is nowhere to be found. Before the start of the training, we stand in a circle - and it turns out that Slaven is collecting things ... In general, they were fired.

- At that moment, you realized that you arrived on time?

- I realized that you can go home. The training was conducted by Cherevchenko, and literally three days later Kuchuk came. He is a good specialist, but it is clear that he had his own tasks. Soon, the team appeared ...

- Bussufa and Diarra?

- Who are they? .. Okay, okay, I know, of course: these guys were one of the best. But I'm not talking about them. Mikhalik and Tkachev came - the central defender and the attacking half, just our positions with Artem. After 2 weeks we were told: guys, thanks, go back. And we, most importantly, then talked very well with Bilich. He trusted the young, went to Loko-2 matches and, roughly speaking, was even ready to offer us a contract.

- In Lokomotiv-2 you were coached by Evgeny Kharlachev. Have you seen how he scored against Bayern?

- Of course. Having joined the team, I immediately got into Wikipedia. I looked at the middle name - you need to know how to address a person. Thanks to him, by the way, for taking me into the team - one might say, he started all this enticement. In December 2011, I came to watch and played a couple of matches. I played well, but just in case I packed my things. Suddenly Kharlachev beckons. I think: now he will say that I am good, but I need to try myself somewhere else. "It's not about you, it's about me" - like that, you know? And he just - and talks about the contract. I didn't even know what to answer him. He mumbled: "Well, let's sign."

- Playing at Loko-2, did you get a feel for what harsh men's football is?

- In the very first official game! It lasted 120 minutes. From Smolensk to the Cup, we passed them on penalties. I almost died on the field - 120 minutes of struggle, all at the maximum. Tin!

- You were immediately told in the podtribunka: "Boy, I will tear off your legs"?

- We did not have any sub-tribunes. You leave the field - and immediately on the street, in the Perovo park, you walk.

- A move to the second league that you will never forget?

- Vyshny Volochek. I didn’t understand where I was at all and wanted only one thing - to go back. The tallest building in the city is three-story. We lost calmly - 0: 2, in my opinion, but the boys from the local team were fighting against the Muscovites like that! .. It was as if the "starshaki" had beaten us.

We flew to Sakhalin, but already in “Khimik”. This is generally awful! We had no money for a charter - we didn’t chuck something, so we flew from Nizhny to Moscow for 2 hours. We sat in a cafe at the airport - pancakes, everything. Then we flew another 8:40 - and the wind, as always, was in the wrong direction. We planned to arrive three hours before the match, wash, go to the toilet - and then play. But the plane was delayed - and we arrived at the stadium half an hour before the start. We thought they were being taken to the hotel, but it turned out to be for the game.

- And how did you play?

- We won. On the tenth minute, the ball was in my leg - I knocked it out kaaak diagonally. The goalkeeper shouts: "I", their defender begins to back away - as a result, they collide. And the ball to our right half, Dima Shilov, hit right into the halik (ankle - Match TV). They took 1: 0, no one understood anything, they were not even happy. They said to each other: "Back, let's rest." And so it ended. They also earned prizes (bonus - Match TV), took the red game for them - and ate on the plane.

- In Tikhvin - I thought I was playing on the carpet, just like here in the hotel. It was very tough, but then, in my opinion, they rebuilt it.

- Did the moles come out?

- What moles? The asphalt was crawling out! You could play in spikes! And from the living fields in Orekhovo-Zuevo a nightmare: it is there like a field in a forest. Chamomile, frogs. Well, what can I do ... I'm not making it up. Whoever played in the second league can safely live up to a hundred years, nothing will happen to him.

- Did you come across crazy judges?

- Not in the second league, by the way. I saw four penalties only in the match with Qatar.

- In 2014, you were lucky - Lokomotiv-2 was disbanded, and a criminal case was opened on the fact of embezzlement in Nalchik's Spartak. Was it a fun time?

- I had half a year of contact with Lokomotiv-2 - and Khasanbi Bidzhiev called me to Nalchik. We made 4 months of lease, I played them without question and did not find anything criminal. Nalchik stayed in the first league, but due to a lack of finances showed up in the second. And Lokomotiv-2 was shut down altogether. And I, it turns out, became a free agent. Then, again, Evgeny Valerievich Kharlachev called and said that he was the head of Chemist. The next day I was already there.

- When you were called to Dzerzhinsk, you probably looked at Wikipedia. And they found that it is one of the most polluted cities in the world.

- When I arrived, I saw that there were only factories. Garbage could simply be thrown out the window - the view would not deteriorate much. I spent a year in Dzerzhinsk - and every morning they blew something up there, some kind of exercises. Somewhere roosters crow, and there the shells exploded. No, there were also beautiful places - on the Volga, for example, we got there a couple of times.

- That season “Khimik” lost 21 matches out of 34 and took 17th place. Usually in such cases, they say that the referees killed the team and did not allow it to play. But we have already found out that the judges did not seem to interfere.

- No, we found out that the referees in the second league did not interfere. And in the first, they are responsible for the top five and those who are eliminated. There were matches when by the fifth minute I understood: this is the end.

- How did you understand?

- Well, how ... Your striker is running in his own penalty area, you yourself rush from bar to bar - because the referee whistles fouls every time you leave the penalty area. Let's just do it without specific examples. We ourselves are also to blame.

- The cup game against CSKA in September 2014 was similar to main match in the history of Dzerzhinsk?

- Of course. Lost 1: 2, very disappointing. Who was the judge, don't you remember?

- We can look at Wikipedia.

- In general, we were leading 1: 0 - Vanya Stolbovoy scored. Then an own goal, and in the end Dzagoev performed masterfully. But in the last minutes there is a moment: the serve is in progress, Shustikov is jumping, wants to break through. And Wernbloom pretends to be pushed and moves the ball back with his hand. The referee whistles a foul - 1: 2, goodbye.

- Alan Chochiev said that in Astrakhan they gave a million rubles for a victory over CSKA.

- I don’t remember the exact amount - but the premiums promised double or triple.

- What can you earn in the lower leagues?

- In the second I earned money on Mazda. I took it for 800, and I still drive it. Everything is normal, 110 run already! In the first league, I received 110 thousand, there is nothing to hide - ten was given for an apartment. But I lived on the base - saved. You had to go to McDuck somehow! Well, the bonus is also 80 for a victory.

“I flew in January when it was minus 25 outside. There was mud and a lot of snow around. It felt as if I had come from heaven to hell, ”Georgi Peev recalls his first visit to Perm. Did you have the same feeling? Or was it not scary after Dzerzhinsk?

- I arrived in the summer, the season began immediately. Then he became friends with Salugin, we began to go to restaurants ... There are good establishments in Perm - two or three per million. But we ourselves were having fun. This summer the great Budakov came to the team and said: "Let's try to cook crayfish." And we set up a kitchen in the backyard of the stadium. It turned out great, then a couple of times they had cancer dinners.

- In Amkar you started as a left-back, then Hajiyev used you in midfield - for example, in the game against Spartak. And it seems that it was not the best moment in your career.

- When did I take the penalty and lost 1: 2? I played some kind of hava. When I came out, drying was already in progress. And then it so happened that I do not want to remember ... That's why you reminded me of this? In fact, I am ready to play wherever they put me.

- Wernbloom in CSKA in the last minutes is generally transferred to the attack.

- Yeah, they transferred with us - and nothing happened. Sekou (Conde - "Match TV") won the whole fight against him.

- We all know that Hajiyev loves long installations. Usually they ask how long the longest of them lasted. We will ask about the shortest one.

- The absolute minimum is 25 minutes. And this is usually not less than forty. So I don't even know what a short setup is

- Who is the best performer of standards on this planet? Messi is not considered, he is an alien.

- I don't really follow football ... Ronaldo, Bale. Messi, too, recently performed a bombing free kick. Salugin is fine, but he doesn't hit any closer than from forty meters.

- You said that anyone who starts training free throws will be able to execute them at a decent level. How long does it take to beat like Ronaldo and Bale?

“I don’t know how these guys are. To hit like Salugin, you don't have to train at all. You just hit and that's it. I will not say that I myself perform 40 times. It just so happened that he scored against Lokomotiv and Ufa. Then we received all the bonuses and were satisfied.

- Your corner in the game with Zenit caused the conflict between Hajiyev and Peev. Surprised that it all ended like this?

- Because of me, they had a fight, yes. You can understand both Zhora and Gadzhi Muslimovich. Nobody wanted this to happen. They just told me to file - and I did. By the way, he hung it well - Belorukov could have scored. And we would have won on 120th. And so a penalty shootout, defeat - and sleep in the hotel.

- Each player of “Amkar” has a story of how he confused Brian Idova with a legionnaire.

- I knew about Idova. But in Dzerzhinsk there was a situation. We played with such a dark-skinned footballer - Stas Lebamba. We run in a circle, I hear - someone speaks Russian, and who is not clear. Well, okay, I'm running on. And then Stas pushed it aside in pure Russian - with obscenities, with all the cases! I think: how bazaar, our man! Speaks better than me! - Your friend Salugin is developing his own business - a mixture of football and billiards. Have you tried playing?

- Once. I liked it - such an educational game ... I will definitely buy a table from him. Whoever has the opportunity, also buy. Sasha asked me to say this - he knew that there would be such a question.

- Did he ask to invest in the business?

- Where did I get the money? Although, when I went to play with him, I was asked to pay. They didn’t believe that I was Salugin’s friend, they didn’t even show the photo. Nothing, paid. Now I will demand back.

- Hajiyev said that Semin called him about you. Has Semin called you yourself?

- No. But maybe he will? I haven’t talked about this with Gadzhi Muslimovich yet.

- Do you still have a red-green uniform from the time of the academy?

- I keep all the forms. There, however, it says "Russian Railways", now you can't go out in such a T-shirt - you need it with the words "Russian Railways".

- Maybe order just in case?

- Yeah, before, when there were rumors that someone was going somewhere, we did just that: we called the person, introduced themselves as the administrator of his future team and asked what number he needed.

- With your number, everything is just clear - the fourteenth.

- Do you know why? When I came to Lokomotiv-2, 2nd, 14th and beyond remained free. The 14th was remembered, because when I was little, they brought us the things of the first team to Perovo. Then I got Oleg Pashinin's boots - red and black "traitors", you know? Since then I have been playing under his number - 14th. And then a friend begged me for those boots.

- Suppose Spartak and Lokomotiv offer you equal conditions, which team will you choose?

- What are the conditions?

- 1.5 million euros.

Parents tried in every possible way to help their son, so they constantly worked and earned money to pay for travel and accommodation. The boy perfectly understood the efforts of his parents, so during the summer holidays he worked as a handyman.

Career

The guy took his first steps at the professional level at the age of 18, when he got into the main team of Lokomotiv's backup team. Georgy spent three seasons for the second train crew. However, the guy was not destined to break into the first line-up of railway workers due to the dismissal of the head coach. The last few months in the third season, the young footballer played out in Spartak from Nalchik on loan.

Head coach Yevgeny Kharlachev, who was dismissed from Lokomotiv, was not going to let his young talent go and forced the management of his new club to acquire a young footballer. So, after three seasons in the structure of Lokomotiv, the guy moved to Khimki, where he consistently received playing practice as a central defender.

At 23, the young footballer moved to the Perm "Amkar", with which he signed a three-year contract. Ironically, the young defender scored the first goal in the new team to his former club. In the first season, the young footballer made a good showing in the new team, so he consistently appeared in the starting lineup.
