• Presentation of the home stadiums of the rfpl clubs (photo). Why RPL small clubs? Let's leave only those who have no problems with stadiums! Let them build normal arenas and return the stadiums of the Russian Federation

    16.09.2021

The championship is planned to be held at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of the Russian Federation. The matches will be hosted by Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Kazan, Sochi and other cities. The opening match and the final of the World Cup will be held in Moscow at the Luzhniki stadium.

32 strongest teams from all over the planet will come together in football matches. How the stadiums will look like - see our photo feed.

    Moscow, "Luzhniki"

The main stadium of the 2018 World Cup was built in 1956 to host the First All-Union Summer Spartakiad. Since then, the Luzhniki Bolshoi Sports Arena has hosted many major sports and cultural events.

The recognizable image of the stadium is based on associations with the themes of the Volga nature - water and wind. At the same time, the location near the historic quarters dictates the restraint and austerity of the silhouette to the building.

A lightweight frame formed by three-edged thin supports arranged in a circle supports a wave-like translucent facade that hides the stadium bowl. The building is surrounded by a pedestrian gallery, which is accessed by stairs.

    Moscow, "Otkrytie Arena"

In the spring of 2010 in the Moscow district of Tushino on the site of the former airfield football club Spartak began construction of its own arena with 45,000 seats, and on September 5, 2014, the opening match of the stadium took place.

The stadium is proud of its unique appearance - the arena's facade is made in the form of a gladiator's chain mail, which is formed by hundreds of rhombuses, simultaneously referring to the club's emblem. The facade can change colors depending on which team is playing in the arena.

On the days of Spartak's matches, the arena turns red and white, on the days of the national team's matches - the colors of the Russian tricolor.

After the end of the 2018 World Cup, a new residential neighborhood will grow around the Spartak stadium.

    St. Petersburg, stadium "St. Petersburg"

It was decided to build a new modern arena in St. Petersburg on the site of the stadium. Kirov on Krestovsky Island. The arena opened in 2017 and has hosted the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup matches, including the opening match and the final.

As conceived by the architect, the stadium resembles a spaceship that has landed on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. The height of the building was 79 meters.

One of the most modern arenas has a retractable roof and a roll-out field, which makes it possible to hold any events on it at any time of the year.

    Sochi, "Fisht Stadium"

The stadium is located in the Olympic Park, in the Imeretinskaya lowland in Sochi. It was built for the 2014 Winter Olympics. The stadium was partially reconstructed for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.

The stadium got its name from the mountain peak of the same name of the Main Caucasian ridge. It is planned that the Russian national team will hold training camps in Sochi and part of their official and friendly matches. In addition, the Fisht arena will serve as a venue for various mass events. A Formula 1 racing track is laid around the stadium.

    Volgograd, stadium "Central"

The facade of the new stadium in the shape of an overturned truncated cone is formed by a mesh openwork structure. The motives of the Victory salute are interpreted in the drawing of the bearing structures of the facade and windscreens.

    Yekaterinburg, "Yekaterinburg Arena"

The new stadium was built on the site of a reconstructed arena built in 1953. Architectural and decorative elements typical of Soviet neoclassicism, as well as monumental and decorative art, were used in the design of the tribune's facade.

The stadium has retained its recognizable historical façade. For the World Championships, it has a roof, as well as temporary stands outside the gate.

    Kazan, "Kazan Arena"

The new stadium in Kazan was built in preparation for the 2013 Summer Universiade. The architectural concept for the arena was developed by the same architecture firm that designed sports facilities such as London's Emirates and Wembley stadiums.

The arena has a unique design that harmoniously fits into the landscape of Kazan. It is located on the banks of the Kazanka River and looks like a water lily from a bird's eye view.

In addition to football matches and sporting events, the stadium will host various entertainment shows, concerts, and cultural events.

    Saransk, "Mordovia Arena"

The construction of the 2018 World Cup stadium in Saransk began in 2010, it was timed to coincide with the 1000th anniversary of the unity of the Mordovian people with the peoples of Russia. The arena is located in the city center, on the banks of the Insar River.

After the World Cup, the arena's capacity will be reduced to 25,000 spectators due to the dismantling of temporary structures. This solution will make it possible to effectively use the arena: the vacated areas will house volleyball, basketball and tennis halls, as well as fitness centers.

    Rostov, "Rostov Arena"

The new arena for the 2018 World Cup in Rostov-on-Don is located on the left bank of the Don River. Thanks to the World Cup, the city will receive an impetus for expansion at the expense of the left-bank part, which traditionally attracts residents and guests of Rostov-on-Don with its tourist bases and restaurants.

The original design of the stadium is harmoniously integrated into the picturesque landscape. The roof of the arena follows the natural curves of the Don River. The different heights of the stands allow spectators to admire not only the events on the football field, but also the city's landscapes.

    Samara, "Samara Arena"

The new arena for the 2018 World Cup in Samara was built in the area of the Radio Center. It is planned to build a residential area with a developed infrastructure around the stadium.

The design of the arena is dominated by the space theme - a tribute to the traditions of the region, which is famous for its aerospace industry.

The exterior of the stadium is a glass dome. The light, high-tech metal frame of the supporting structures forms the form of a covering over the stands, the height of which will be 60 meters from the ground level.

    Kaliningrad, "Kaliningrad Stadium"

A new stadium for the 2018 World Cup has been erected on Oktyabrsky Island in the very center of Kaliningrad. The holding of the World Cup matches in the city served as an incentive for the local authorities to take up the improvement of the island, which for many centuries was empty and was not used for development.

After the World Cup, a residential neighborhood with parks, a pier and embankments along the Pregolya River will grow around the stadium.

The new arena in Kaliningrad will be multifunctional - in addition to football matches, concerts and competitions in other sports will be held here.

Zenit's first official match took place on April 22, 2017, and the tryout was extremely unsuccessful - not only did the match itself end in a big scandal, but the pitch was rejected by all the players, after which Zenit refused to play here until the new turf was remade. In 2014, instead of the old scoreboard, which had served for 19 years, an LED one appeared, the changing rooms, the under-stands premises were completely renovated, and the western stand was cosmetically updated. RFPL stadiums

On the eve of the new season, we present the main stadiums that will host the matches of the teams of the Russian Premier League.

    Stadium "Petrovsky", St. Petersburg
    Command:"Zenith"
    Opened: June 26, 1925, reconstructed in 1933, 1961
    Lawn: natural, heated
Arena capacity today- 21 560 spectators.

About the stadium. The main football arena of St. Petersburg is located on the eponymous island of the Petrogradskaya side. In 2010, the Petrovsky infrastructure was modernized - the seats were replaced, the track and field surface was renewed. It is curious that the team benches and changing rooms are located at different stands, which causes a lot of inconvenience to the head coaches of the teams, who have to run from one end of the stadium to the other. In addition, in the memory of many fans, the memories of the scandalous “banana incident” that occurred last year at the match between “Zenith” and “Anji” are probably still fresh.

Ticket program. At the moment, fans have access to information about the cost of tickets for the first two rounds of the Premier League with the participation of Zenit. The cost of the cheapest tickets will be 300 and 500 rubles for the matches with “Amkar” and “Dynamo”, respectively. As for season tickets, they are all divided into two types: the first gives the right to access all home matches of the Russian championship (1st and 2nd rounds) and the Russian Cup and costs at least 6,600 rubles, and the second also includes access to home matches of the team in international tournaments (Champions League and Europa League) and costs at least 8700 rubles.

    Stadium "Petrovsky", St. Petersburg

    BSA "Luzhniki", Moscow

    Lawn: artificial, there is heating
    Arena capacity- 84 750 spectators.

About the stadium. Football club "Spartak" receives its rivals at the Luzhniki Olympic Stadium. It is likely that part of their home matches in the 2012/13 season will also be played by the capital's “army team”. The big sports arena today is one of the largest five-star football stadiums the world. Nevertheless, there are many difficulties football teams delivers artificial turf that players have complained about more than once. The arena has the world's largest visor over the seating area. The stands are equipped with individual plastic seats for spectators. Placards have been installed, showing television pictures during sporting events.

Subscription program. Season passes for home games from 1st July Moscow "Spartak" in "Luzhniki" went on sale. The cost of season tickets ranges from 3,550 to 569,500 rubles. Holders of last year's season tickets and Fan Cards receive a 10% discount. For those wishing to purchase a subscription, the club also offers an interesting promotion: every 500th owner will have the opportunity to visit the stadium under construction in Tushino and see with his own eyes how the Spartak arena is growing. Every thousandth owner will be invited to lunch at the base " Spartacus"in Tarasovka.

    BSA "Luzhniki", Moscow

    Stadium "Arena Khimki", Khimki
    Commands: CSKA, Dynamo
    Opened: September 20, 2008
    Lawn: natural, heated
    Arena capacity- 18 636 spectators.

About the stadium. On October 15, 2011, Arena Khimki became the first Russian stadium in history to broadcast a football match in 3D. In addition, it is the only stadium in Russia equipped with a SKIDATA access control system. A similar system is installed at the Allianz Arena in Munich and at the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester. The stadium is equipped with 119 video surveillance cameras installed in the bowl and around the perimeter of the arena, which, however, does not prevent fans from throwing snowballs on the field on frosty days. The arena's turf, which was heavily criticized in the spring, was renovated in early June with the help of Dutch and American technology, so that now the players will be able to demonstrate their skills on better surfaces.

Subscription program for CSKA. The sale of season tickets for the home matches of PFC CSKA for the 2012/13 season began on 6 July. Some season pass holders may be concerned with the issue of access to the stadium during home meetings at Luzhniki, but the club has foreseen this point as well. Each season ticket has a barcode that is valid for both the Arena Khimki and Luzhniki systems, as well as the seats assigned to the holder of the document at both stadiums. The minimum cost of a season ticket for an adult for CSKA matches in the 2012/13 season in the Russian Championship and Cup will be 2,100 rubles (if you have a KLS card or a fan card). It should also be added that the cost of the most inexpensive tickets for the match of the first round of CSKA - “Rostov” will be 300-400 rubles.

Subscription program "Dynamo". The cheapest season tickets for members of the blue and white fan club will be 1,500 rubles, and those who are not part of the official community will be able to purchase them for at least 6,000 rubles.

    Stadium "Arena Khimki", Khimki

    Dynamo Stadium, Makhachkala
    Command: Anji.
    Opened: May 31, 1927. Reconstructed in 1968, 2000, 2010 and 2011.
    Lawn: natural, heated
    Arena capacity- 15 200 spectators.

About the stadium. Since its opening in 1927, the arena has undergone many changes. Only when Anji entered the Premier League was an electronic scoreboard installed at Dynamo, the Western Stand was built, artificial heating of the pitch was made, and plastic seats were installed. The only question for the arena that the fans have is related to security in the region. Having studied security issues on the territory of Dagestan, the UEFA executive committee did not allow Anji to hold home matches of the Europa League on the territory of the republic, which caused a lot of indignation among local fans.

Subscription program. Season tickets for Anji's home matches in Makhachkala have been on sale since July 5. The cheapest seasonal pass costs 1,000 rubles, while tickets for individual matches range from 100 to 500 rubles.

    Dynamo Stadium, Makhachkala

    Command:"Ruby"
Opened: June 25, 1960. At the moment, reconstruction continues.
    Lawn: natural, heated
    Arena capacity- 26,920 spectators.

About the stadium. The central stadium in Kazan was built in 1960 according to the design of the Soviet architect V. Portyankin. The main Rubin team plays in this arena. It is worth remembering that during the past season the quality of the lawn on the “Central” caused a lot of criticism. Some club representatives even noted that playing on such a surface in February and early March was more like an accident, and in such conditions it is difficult to show fast combination football. Let's see how the field in Kazan will appear before the fans this time.

Subscription program. Football club "Rubin" has issued unusual season tickets for its fans, which are not only admission cards to the stadium, but also payment plastic cards with accumulated bonuses. The cost of such cards in the 2012/13 season will be from 1000 rubles. The cost of tickets for individual matches varies from 100 to 1000 rubles, depending on the convenience of the review and the category of matches.

    Central Stadium, Kazan

    Lokomotiv Stadium, Moscow
    Command:"Locomotive"
    Opened: July 5, 2002
    Lawn: natural
    Arena capacity- 28 800 spectators.

About the stadium. The construction of the Lokomotiv stadium began in 2000, and in 2002 it was opened, timed to coincide with the Railway Worker's Day. The arena's unique roof is supported by cables stretched over four reinforced concrete pylons. A similar technology is used in the construction of bridges. Lokomotiv is a purely football stadium, where there are no track and field tracks between the field and the stands. A Dutch-made lawn has been laid on the Lokomotiv's home arena. In the offseason, there was talk about changing the official name of the stadium to "RZD-Arena", but later the management of JSC "Russian Railways" still abandoned this idea, having listened to the opinion of the majority of fans.

Subscription program. In the 2012/13 season, the cost of the cheapest season ticket for the railroad's home matches will be 1,500 rubles. Holders of last year's pass documents will receive a 10% discount. For those planning to purchase a season ticket for the first time, the club offers an entertaining picture guide featuring the team's goalkeeper Guilherme. It is simply impossible to get lost with such a guide! We also add that tickets for individual home matches of Lokomotiv will cost at least 150 rubles.

    Opened: August 10, 1957
The arena has a capacity of 33,000 spectators.

About the stadium. Metallurg is one of the most visited football arenas in Russia. In the first match of the 1997 season in Samara, Krylia Sovetov hosted Alania Vladikavkaz (1: 3), and on that day Metallurg's attendance record was set: despite the official stadium capacity of 38,000, 44,000 were watching the match. spectators, people filled all the aisles and steps. But there have been many complaints about the quality of the coating in the past. The natural turf field is equipped with a drainage system, although this did not save the arena last fall, when in the 25th round match between Wings of the Soviets and Dynamo, the teams struggled to show their best on the flooded surface. After this incident, the management of the club and the region seriously thought about modernizing the lawn. The idea was implemented on the eve of the match for the Russian Super Cup. “We have known for a long time that they want to change the lawn in Samara, but when we saw it, it exceeded all our expectations. Now Samara has an amazing high-quality surface. It can be seen that the leadership of the region and the club did everything for the players to show their skills in the Russian Super Cup match . Of course, the Samara lawn is ready to host matches of the Russian championship ", - said the executive director of the RFPL Sergei Cheban before the start of the season. In the spring we sowed the grass and watered it regularly, so the lawn is ready for the Russian Championship. On Friday, the team will return to the stadium and will appreciate the quality of the surface during the pre-game training session. The finishing touches are being made around the stadium, and the pitch itself is 100 percent ready, "said Sergei Kozunov, head of the Volga FC press service. One can speak with great enthusiasm about the readiness of the field in summer, but the real test of strength will be already in winter. "We have agronomists constantly working. All the necessary activities are carried out all year round - the field is not left even for a day. Spartak Stadium, Vladikavkaz

Two weeks before the meeting in the 10th round of the RPL Enisey - Spartak, it turned out that the Krasnoyarsk club had notified the red and whites about the unpreparedness of the Tsentralny stadium for the match. “Enisey” is not to blame, as it is not involved in the arena - he rents it. A difficult situation was created by chance: the equipment for the monitoring and control system of spectators' access was ordered at the stadium, but it does not have time to arrive before October 7. The league allowed the Yenisey - Ural match to be played without him, but does not allow the Yenisey - Spartak game to be played.

The logical way out of the situation is to postpone the match to other dates, which is most obvious for the clubs, but not for the fans - an exchange of circles (now to play in Moscow, and in the spring - in Krasnoyarsk).

A way out will surely be found, but this story repeats itself from year to year. And every time with the Premier League rookies. Maybe it's time to make the RPL a closed league? Reduce to 14 teams, so that only those who are financially able to play and have a quality stadium remain, or, on the contrary, increase to 18 teams, recruiting only those who will not beg for alms for the next five seasons.

Yenisei is not the first RPL debutant to be alerted. Let us remember how long Ufa could not start playing at the Neftyanik stadium, where an artificial pitch still lies, where CSKA legionnaires Abel Hernandez and Herdur Magnusson have recently "broken down". Two years ago, as an exception, newcomers from Orenburg were allowed to play at the stadium, which is a) still being reconstructed; b) even after reconstruction it will not comply with the regulations due to its capacity (it can accommodate 7,500 spectators, but 10 thousand are needed). At the end of the 2016/17 season, Orenburg residents flew to the FNL, but returned in a year. Since then, nothing has changed with the stadium. RPL asked the club about this, to which Orenburg quickly presented a new reconstruction plan. And again, with a stretch, the club was allowed to play in this stadium. Although this whole plan is made purely for show! Firstly, the reconstruction will begin at best by winter and will not end even by the end of the season. Secondly, in fact, this stadium will look even more dubious than the Ural arena in Yekaterinburg, since they plan to enlarge only one tribune outside the goal.

In fact, it is much easier to find a place and erect a new stadium, at least for 10 thousand spectators, but the administration of the Orenburg Territory only announced its desire to build an arena, in fact, there was no progress in resolving this issue in the future. But even such a reconstruction is needed for the Orenburg stadium. See how people crowd in the corridors of the Gazovik stadium. There is no mixed zone, and on the field the players are constantly complaining, they say, the artificial turf is simply laid on concrete.

Why does the Premier League need such clubs, which is going to reach a new level and sell TV rights for $ 100 million (6.5 billion rubles)? It is better to bring up from the FNL those who play in the luxurious stadiums: Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Mordovia, Baltika and Rotor. If you cannot comply with the established regulations - stay in the FNL. The players themselves will feel the rise in the level of the Premier League. Attendance will increase significantly. If you want to play RPL, but you're out of luck with the climate - build high-quality arenas. Zenit proved that it is possible to play in a stadium with a closed roof without harming the game. So let's improve our championship, and not change circles, forgetting about the fans who have already bought tickets to Krasnoyarsk, not postponing home matches from Ufa to Perm and not postponing the Russian Cup meetings for a whole month, despite the official calendar dates set aside for the 1/16 finals.

P.S. By the way, the reconstructed Yenisei stadium will not be the most convenient even with equipment. The stands are located so far from the field because of the treadmills that even the old Luzhniki stadiums would have brought more pleasure from watching the game.
