Catching the ball with two hands
The main and most reliable method of catching the ball is catching with both hands.
If the ball flies at chest height, then it must be met with arms extended forward. The palms of the hands with relaxed, freely spaced, bent fingers form a funnel (thumbs up, inward) slightly larger than a ball. The ball, met at a distance of the length of the arms from the chest and caught in the funnel, from the moment it touches the fingers, with an inferior movement of the hand, an ever increasing resistance begins to appear until it stops completely
Transition to the next view.
3. Passing the ball with two hands in a pair
Transition to the next view.
4. Passing the ball with two hands in a three-piece
Transition to the next view.
5. Passing the ball with both hands from the floor in pairs.
Transition to the next view.
6. dribbling in a straight line; throwing the ball into the basket from two steps.
The most common and reliable ball pass that provides greater accuracy and speed is a two-handed pass from the chest.
This transmission can be carried out equally well on the ground, in a jump, from the chest, from behind the head, from a place and in motion.
Two-handed transmission from the chest is performed with the hands, the so-called "wrist" transmission, or a combination of the work of the hands with straightening the arms.
When passing the ball with the brushes, first a swing is made, that is, the tilt of the brushes down, then a sharp straightening of them to their original position with a pushing movement of all fingers
Transition to the next view.
7. Passing with one hand.
One-handed transmission has been around for a long time. This transmission in all its varieties - from the shoulder, from below, from the side, etc., is used mainly for long transmissions. It provides a high speed of the ball. A one-handed pass from the shoulder is the most common. When performing it, the basketball player puts his bent legs shoulder-width apart (the weight of the body is distributed over two legs), the hand with the ball is at shoulder height. With a sharp jerk, unbending his arm in the direction of the pass, the player releases the ball.
3. An educational game of basketball.
