    EYE GYMNASTICS AS HEALTH SAVING

    TECHNOLOGY

    Health is not everything, but everything without health is nothing.

    Prepared by: educator Markova Elena Valerievna.

    In the age of information technology, the body of children and adults

    is heavily influenced by factors that negatively affect

    health. It's no secret that phones, computers, tablets, TVs -

    exert daily stress on the visual apparatus of children, even the youngest preschool age... Therefore, preventive and corrective work with the organs of vision acts today as a necessary component educational activities DOE.

    It is important not only to teach children how to perform special exercises in the system, but also to understand the need to take care of their eyesight and health in general.

    One of the forms of work on the prevention and correction of visual impairments, overwork of the visual apparatus is visual gymnastics.

    Gymnastics for the eyes is one of the methods of improving children's health, it belongs to health-preserving technologies, along with breathing exercises, self-massage, dynamic pauses.

    The purpose of eye gymnastics: prevention of visual impairment in preschoolers.

    Tasks:

    Fatigue prevention

    Strengthening the eye muscles

    Relief of tension.

    General improvement of the visual apparatus.

    Exercise for the eyes has a beneficial effect on the performance of the visual analyzer and the whole organism.

    Conditions: It does not require special conditions for conducting. Any gymnastics for the eyes is done while standing.

    Time: 2-4 minutes are performed.

    Rule: When performing exercises, the head is motionless (unless otherwise indicated).

    Exercises associated with a prolonged and sharp tilt of the head are contraindicated in children with visual impairments.

    Reception of conducting - a visual demonstration of the teacher's actions.

    When planning an OOD using ICT, once a week, we recommend to learn and use 1 gymnastics for the eyes in verse (for example, number 15.16 and others) per month, and 4 times to use gymnastics with or without objects, in the form of complexes of movements (for example, complexes number 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and others).

    If gymnastics for the eyes is used by a teacher in the health preservation system on a daily basis, then it is recommended to plan for a week for learning and performing 1 complex in poetic form, combining it 1 or 2 times with complexes of a different type.

    By the name of gymnastics for the eyes, it is easy to pick it up on the topic of GCD.

    When planning, it is recommended to take into account the principle of complication, first working out simple eye movements: right and left, up and down, circular movements, squinting, blinking, protruding eyes, and then using them along the bottom of a more complex poetic text in various combinations. You also need to use a short text at first (up to 4 lines), and then move on to more complex and long ones.

    Types of gymnastics.

    According to the use of the artistic word, gymnastics for the eyes can be divided into those that have a poetic accompaniment and those that are carried out without it.

    By using additional attributes, 4 types can be distinguished:

    With objects (for example, set 4 or work with cards located on the walls. There are small silhouette images of objects, letters, syllables, numbers, geometric figures, etc. on them (the size of the objects depicted is from 1 to 3 cm). At the teacher's request, children get up and perform a number of tasks: look for pictures on the walls that are the answer to the riddle;

    find images of objects, the names of which have the desired sound, etc.

    No attributes (no items and posters are used);

    With the use of special fields (complex 73,74 or any colored figures are depicted (oval, eight, wave, spiral, rhombus, etc.) or fancifully crossed lines of different colors 1 cm thick. This poster is placed above eye level at any convenient place (above the board, on the side wall and even on the ceiling.) At the request of the teacher, children begin to "run" their eyes along a given trajectory. In this case, it is desirable to give each exercise a playful or creative character. You can attach a butterfly or a character on the topic to the tip of the pointer and go on a trip);

    Using ICT. There are specialized programs aimed at relieving tension and correcting vision. As a rule, they are expensive and little used in preschool educational institutions. But multimedia gymnastics for the eyes is easy to make yourself, using PowerPoint to create presentations, where any object can be given a certain movement (animation tools). This is convenient when using direct educational activities based on a presentation, when the teacher selects pictures on the topic and inserts them at the desired stage.

    The most interesting are gymnastics for the eyes, on which objects or tasks in poetic form are used, movements along certain paths, tasks to search for objects and pictures in different parts of the group.

    Vision - the main source of knowledge about the outside world, more than 90% of which comes through the visual communication channel. To preserve eyesight, to teach a child to use it rationally is the most important task of parents and teachers.

    Today, the active life of children includes watching multimilms, developing computer games, and mastering reading skills. All this creates a certain strain on the eyes, so it is worth starting to do eye exercises for preschoolers - carried out in a playful way, the kid will like it, in addition, he should perceive positively, learning to take care of the eyes from a young age. Rapid changes - that is, schoolwork already - will increase the load on the eyes.

    The purpose of visual gymnastics is to form in preschool children ideas about the need to take care of their health, about the importance of vision, as an integral part of maintaining and strengthening health

    Visual gymnastics is used:

    To improve blood circulation and intraocular fluid in the eyes

    To strengthen the muscles of the eyes

    To improve accommodation (this is the ability of the human eye to good quality vision at different distances)

    Visual gymnastics should be done regularly 2-3 times a day for 3-5 minutes. Gymnastics happens:

    1) game correction physical minutes;

    2) with objects;

    3) visual simulators;

    4) complexes for verbal instructions.

    When choosing gymnastics for the eyes, the age, state of vision and the speed of reaction of the child are taken into account. Children during visual gymnastics should not get tired. It is necessary to monitor the tension of the eyes, and after gymnastics, practice relaxing exercises. For example: “Now relax your eyes, blink often, often, easily, easily. Like a butterfly flapping its wings. "

    After gymnastics for the eyes, you can use grimaces, articulatory gymnastics to relieve tension.

    For gymnastics, you can use small items, various simulators. Gymnastics can be carried out according to verbal instructions, using poetry, nursery rhymes. The most interesting are gymnastics for the eyes, on which tasks are used in poetic form

    Also gymnastics is carried out with items, bright toys (the sun, birds, animal figurines, etc.), which are attached to a stick - a pointer or given to the child in the hand, put on a finger.

    Exercise tables are widely used in work with preschoolers. They can be portable and stationary, painted on the wall.

    Moving mini-simulators are of great interest to children. While observing their action, children train the motor muscles of the eyes. In the group, it is necessary to place several bright objects, toys (on the window, on the wall), hang moving mobiles with butterflies, birds and other bright figures designed for the exercises “look up, into the distance”. With older preschoolers, you can use complexes in drawings.

    Work with cards located on the walls. They have small silhouette images of objects, letters, syllables, numbers, geometric shapes, etc. (the size of the objects shown is from 1 to 3 cm). At the teacher's request, the children get up and perform a number of tasks: they look for pictures on the walls that are the answer to the riddle; find images of objects, the names of which have the desired sound, etc.

    What exercises will be most effective? First of all, this is blinking, which helps the eye to clear and relieve fatigue. You can also use the example of a butterfly that flaps its wings frequently.

    The next most popular exercise is “Palms ”, That is, the child closes his eyes with his palms and holds them for about half a minute. Helps relieve eye strain and fatigue.

    The exercise “Owl "- first, the child must close his eyes tightly, and then open them as wide as possible and hold them like that for some time.

    You can play "long away » – « close »When the child has to look from an object located nearby, in the room, to an object far beyond the window.

    You can also play with your child “Leaves "When he has to follow the falling leaves with his eyes: the gaze moves with a motionless head to the right and to the left, as well as up and then down. The exercise "The Sun" is also very popular among kids - you need to, as it were, follow the sun, moving your gaze according to its movement: from left to right and up and down.

    I bring to your attention gymnastics for the eyes "Days of the week"

    We didn't yawn on Friday

    The eyes ran in a circle.

    Stop, and again

    Run in the other direction.

    Raise your eyes up, right, down, left and up; and vice versa: left, down, right and up again; (improves complex eye movements)

    Even though Saturday is a day off

    We are not lazy with you.

    Looking for corners with a glance

    For pupils to run.

    Look at the upper right corner, then the lower left; move your gaze to the upper left and lower right (improves complex eye movements)

    We'll sleep on Sunday

    And then let's go for a walk

    To make your eyes harden

    You need to breathe air.

    Close the eyelids, massage them with circular motions of the fingers: the upper eyelid from the nose to the outer edge of the eyes, the lower eyelid from the outer edge to the nose, then vice versa (relaxes the muscles and improves blood circulation)

    Without gymnastics, friends,

    Our eyes cannot live!

    Consultation for parents “Let's take care of children's eyesight. Gymnastics for the eyes "

    At preschool age, the child undergoes intensive development of the whole body, including organs vision... During this period of development, it is common for a child to show curiosity, kids watch TV with pleasure, are interested in a computer. Exactly what children's eyes are subject to the negative influence of numerous factors, we, adults, should be especially alarmed.

    It is necessary to help the developing child's body withstand such environmental influences, and prevent the deterioration vision of the baby... We recommend to parents pay more attention to the posture of the child, if the child sits with a "crooked" back, his blood supply to the brain is disturbed, which provokes problems with vision.

    Do not allow your child to sit in front of the TV or computer for a long time without stopping. At the same time, remember that it is best to sit in front of the TV screen not from the side, but, on the contrary, at a distance of 3 meters.

    You should also not watch TV in a dark room, as eye will be forced to constantly change focus, and strain, adapting to the light. This can lead to quite unpleasant consequences.

    Depending on age, there are certain time restrictions when watching TV, or practicing on a computer. So, the smallest are recommended no more than 10 minutes of watching cartoons per day. At the average preschool age it is 15 minutes, at the older one - no more than 20 minutes. Spend with your child regularly gymnastics for the eyes... Turn it into a daily exciting game, and then it will be interesting, useful, and safe for the child's health.

    Consultation for parents

    Why do children need visual gymnastics.

    Often underestimating the use of visual gymnastics for children can be a serious miscalculation when working with babies. In addition, this method is a kind of relaxation for the child's nervous system, it helps the brain to better process the information received through sight. Inoculating children simple gymnastics exercises for the eyes, we should remind that a child can perform this gymnastics at home.

    After all, it's not a secret for anyone that many parents practically do not limit the time of their child's stay at the computer and at the TV, where vision gets a huge load. They do not improve vision and play with small details in cell phones and newfangled portable consoles. Getting the skill to perform visual gymnastics, the child will perform it within a few minutes, the eyes will rest, the loss of vision will not be such a close threat.

    Which children are shown gymnastics for the eyes?

    Many parents believe that their children with 100% vision are not at risk. Far from it! A child's vision is a fragile instrument that requires care, attention and, above all, constant observation. If the child already has vision abnormalities, visual gymnastics will help not to worsen the situation, and in some cases, to correct the problems. The task of the parents is to learn simple gymnastics exercises for the eyes for children and at first remind the child to do the exercises at home and even join in the exercises that are beneficial for the eyes.

    Visual gymnastics complex for children

    What simple gymnastics for the eyes can you recommend for children to preserve their eyesight? We offer you one of the simple sets of exercises.

    1. In the corners of the room, under the ceiling, place colored cardboard mugs of different sizes. Invite the children to look at the left circle for a few seconds, then on the right one, do this exercise 3-5 times, make sure that only the eyes work for the children, after 3-5 exercises, close their eyes for 10 seconds, repeat the exercise 3 times.

    2. To relax the muscles supporting the eyeball, it is suggested to close and relax the eyes for 10 seconds.

    3. To perform the following visual gymnastics exercise for children, place your hands under the chin to prevent head movement. The child should raise his eyes and look up, then down 4 times, a break of 10 seconds, then to the right, left 4 times, a break of 10 seconds.

    4. Additional material is required to complete the next exercise. On the ceiling there is a drawing in the form of a snake, a spiral or a colored checkerboard. Children are encouraged to “walk the path” with their eyes; from the beginning of the snake to the end, from the beginning of the spiral to the center, according to the colored cubes given by the teacher or adults.

    The benefits of these gymnastics exercises for the eyes for children will be felt only if they are systematically performed, that is, after 20 minutes of classes for children 3-5 years old and after 30 minutes for children 6-9 years old every day.

    Eyes can tell so much about a person

    Words and gestures are not needed at all

    It was not for nothing that people said

    The eyes are the mirror of his soul.

    Anastasia Lanskaya

    Each person perceives and studies the world around him with the help of five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. A person receives 90% of information through the organs of vision. When the baby is just born, he sees only a mixture of light and shadows. Such poor vision is explained by the fact that the retina is still forming, and the macula (part of the retina) has not yet formed at all. Gradually, day after day, the visual acuity of a small person increases, and his brain receives more and more information necessary to create an idea of the outside world.

    It would seem that the organ of vision is in constant tone. Training goes on all the time. And at the same time - over the past six years, there has been a tremendous increase in diseases all over the world, only in our country the number of patients with ophthalmological diseases has increased by three million. Doctors warn about the development of the so-called epidemic of diseases of the organ of vision. Why is this happening, and what is the problem?

    Harmful impacts are almost impossible to avoid in modern conditions. A child from an early age watched and will watch TV, and daily watching cartoons on a computer has become an integral part of the life of almost every child. This is the way of life of our children, and we need to learn to maintain vision in such conditions.

    One of the great aspects of improving vision is visual gymnastics.

    The purpose of visual gymnastics is to form in preschool children the idea of the need to take care of their health, the importance of vision, as an integral part of maintaining and strengthening health. Exercise for the eyes relieves eye tension, increases visual performance, improves blood circulation and helps prevent visual impairment and the development of eye diseases, as well as faster recovery of performance and effective assimilation of educational material.

    Visual gymnastics should be started at an early age, which is carried out regularly, at least 2-3 times a day for 3-5 minutes. The exercises are varied in form and content, performed emotionally and are playful in nature. The exercises include game or surprise moments, poems, nursery rhymes. At first, an adult himself can massage, knead, stroke the child's eyes and accompany his actions with funny nursery rhymes, the main thing is that the eye movements are as varied as possible. Usually in such games, claps, circular movements, blinking, etc. are used. The number of exercises, movements and their complexity should increase gradually and not cause unpleasant sensations in the child. When the baby has mastered the first exercises, more complex movements can be introduced into the game. The most difficult, but very useful, are games, those in which asymmetric movements appear, that is, the eyes, hands perform different movements.

    It is advisable to conduct individual lessons with individual children, which will serve as the beginning of the formation of the necessary skills: to remain focused and active, to perform certain actions, to listen to the explanations of an adult. Repeat movements. You should not force the kid to play if there is no interest in them. In this case, the child may have a negative attitude to the instructions of the teacher and to the play material. In the third year of life, the child develops the ability to follow the actions of the teacher. He understands the speech of an adult better and begins to speak. Therefore, work with young children must begin with imitation, then the children perform gymnastics according to the stage-by-stage demonstration of actions by the teacher, in a holistic manner, and only then according to verbal instructions. The role of the adult is to create a play environment in accordance with the needs, interests and development prospects of the child.

    After gymnastics for the eyes, you can use grimaces, articulatory gymnastics to relieve tension.

    In the practice of our preschool educational institution, we use different options for using visual gymnastics:

    ü physical game with objects;

    ü complexes according to verbal instructions;

    ü with verses.
