Sergey Nikolaevich Chikishev(January 31, 1961, Omsk, USSR) - Russian football coach.

    Biography

Sergey Chikishev spent most of his sports career in the Omsk club "Irtysh". Intermittently worked from 1995 to 2002 as a second coach, and from 2002 to 2004 was a head coach. In 1998 he headed the Russian national team among railway workers, and in 2001 he worked at Tyumen. Since 2007 he trained at the Academy. Cherenkov and worked in the Spartak-Region project at Spartak Moscow. In January 2011 he joined the Dynamo youth team. Until April, he helped Sergei Silkin, and then Silkin was appointed head coach of the main team and Chikishev independently led the youth. Coached the team until the end of the 2011/12 season, in which he led them to their first victory in the youth championship. In the offseason, Chikishev was replaced by Dmitry Khokhlov, but he managed to play only 3 matches in the starting 2012/13 season, after which he was appointed acting coach of the first team. Chikishev became acting in the youth team and led two rounds - 4th and 5th, after which he lost the coaching bridge to Nikolai Kovardaev. Before the 2013/14 season, Khokhlov again became the head coach, and Chikishev became his assistant.

On May 10, 2016, after the dismissal of Andrei Kobelev, Chikishev was appointed acting head coach of Dynamo Moscow. Under his leadership, the team played the final three games of the 2015/2016 season and, having suffered losses in them, left the top division for the first time in their history.

The Dynamo academy has significantly strengthened its coaching staff - Sergei Nikolaevich Chikishev became the head coach of the “forge of talents”, who managed to work not only with the backup team of blue and white, but also with the main team.

The press service of the Academy asked Sergei Nikolaevich about his duties, tasks for the season and about the peculiarities of working with different age categories of football players.

Pupils of the academy and Dynamo fans are always interested in how the football career of this or that person began. So how did you get into football?

I graduated from the Omsk State Institute Physical Education in the 82nd year. Naturally, he played football at the city level in local teams. After completing his studies and serving in the army, he immediately began working at a football school. I had experience of working with different teams of different ages, with specialized football classes and with the national teams of the city. For the first time in the 95th year he was invited to professional football to help the head coach of Omsk Irtysh, who played in the 1st division. At the same time he worked at the Department of Football and Hockey of the OGiFK. From 96-98 he was the head coach of the reserve team of Irtysh, in 98 he was the head coach of the Russian national team among railroad workers. In 99-2000 he returned to Irtysh as an assistant to the head coach. In 2001 I left for FC Tyumen for one season and a year later I was invited to become the head coach of Omsk Irtysh, where I worked for two seasons.

Now let's go directly to your position at the Academy: what does it mean, what are your responsibilities as a head coach?

Now I'm looking closely. I follow the training process, at the Winter Championship, together with the director and breeders, we watch the actions of the guys on the football field. I need to get an impression of what the pupils can do, what needs to be corrected in the training process. After all, it exists for this, so that the coach carries out a general analysis and leadership of the team.

In principle, the Dynamo Academy, as a structure, has been formed for a long time. It is important not to break what has been developed over the years. Still, she is among the leading football schools in Moscow. Two years ago we won the Summer Championship, which is very honorable. He is constantly among the prize-winners of the capital's championship, a large number of children are called up to the national teams of all ages. I want to say that while working as the head of the youth team, I also felt this - enough large group our guys dropped out of the training process for up to a month, and we could not count on them.

My task, as the head coach of the Academy, is to understand what can be changed in the training process in better side because I can give advice from the height of my experience, having worked at different levels; and that there were fewer shortcomings in the work of the coaches of the Dynamo teams. When analyzing games, we will pay attention to some modern constructions of the game. I follow the innovations in the training process, so we will try to introduce some interesting things into the practice of the Academy.

Also, we will watch the players. Because not all of them, of course, will suit us. There are requirements of modern football: it is necessary that the guys who train in our Academy meet certain model characteristics. They are quite high in world football. Although Russia is not a leading football power, nevertheless, we must be at a good level. Moreover, on the eve of the 2018 World Championship. Our footballers must perform with dignity and represent Dynamo in all competitions in which they take part.

Why is it interesting to work with different age categories?

They have different psychological characteristics, different views on attitudes towards sports. If you look at the kids, it is clear that the learning process is just beginning there. But the guys in the graduation and pre-graduation year should be focused on growth, to bring to mind their natural qualities together with coaches. Since they came to the Academy, then surely everyone wants to become professional and good footballers. And without working on yourself, this is impossible. In order to become a worthy player, you need 8-10 years of regular practice. In life, one must give up temptations, although some can afford it. Those who abandoned them at some stage, or, so to speak, skillfully combined them - they started playing.

Different pedagogical approaches, psychology. Who is easier to work with: already established footballers or children who are just starting their football career?

You know, in different ways. I myself worked at different levels: I started with children, went up, then went down and up again. Each age has its own pros and cons. It is interesting to work at all levels. Someone, perhaps, can only train young footballers, and cannot cope with the players of transitional age. Some try to get past the stage children's football and break into an adult right away, which, by the way, doesn't end very well for them. But it must have either authority or some kind of capabilities. That is, those people who do not understand how the process of learning football goes, then very often make mistakes in their coaching work.

Therefore, you need to be able to work with all ages. Each has its own nuances. Although, it is probably easier to work with more prepared older footballers. Because there is more discipline and room for creativity for the coach - the players will try to implement his ideas on the field. Of course, in this regard, it is easier with adults. You see the results of joint activities, completed plans and proposals. Children are a little different - they need to be led and taught.

Can you give an example from practice: what difficulties are encountered in working, for example, with the players of the first team?

This is a separate topic. Adult footballers are already psychologically accomplished people and well-established athletes with their own view of football. Some are quite difficult to convince in any matters. Naturally there is football team and Main coach, which must sometimes even impose the style of play and methods of work. It happens in different ways: someone specially selects players for the game scheme, or vice versa creates a scheme for the players. If someone does not fit into the scheme, then he does not invite him to his team.

The coach must have advanced ideas, understand football well, and lead the training process competently. If the players support his undertakings, then the result is a champion team.

It is clear from the children that the mentor of the team for many is like a father or an older friend. On the pitch, you have to be demanding about everything related to football and discipline. But in everyday life, it seems to me, you need to be more flexible, to delve into the problems of the guys and provide them with help, in every possible way to support the guys. There should be no “favorites” and any privileges. On the field, all players should go out and do one thing, even if there are conflicts within the team. All problems should be left behind the football field. And the coach needs to keep track of this and unite the guys.

At the start of the season, what is the primary task: the physical fitness of the players or some other aspect?

The Football Academy also has a gradation. Only five teams play "standings", and three are "out of standings". The latter are only preparing themselves for football battles. Those who bring Academy points should not only show a beautiful game, but also achieve results in any case. Because, as they say: the most beautiful thing in football is the score on the scoreboard. Practice shows that training alone is not enough. If you talk dozens of times about how beautifully the players acted on the field, and in the end lost, it will not be interesting to anyone. Therefore, I believe that it is necessary to achieve a set game, which is built on modern principles and at the same time a result. The game should be combinational, reliable in defense, bright in the middle line and effective in attack. You also need to develop the strength component, work on endurance and tactics.

The task of those teams that play "test" is to show meaningful play and achieve results. The Dynamo Academy should be among the leading in the country. And those who are on the way, who are just preparing themselves for these games, they need to develop themselves comprehensively - not be limited to football alone. You need to have a large base of movements and develop dexterity, speed, coordination of movements. In winter - go ice skating, go skiing, in summer - play tennis, basketball, volleyball. This will help the player to become flexible, coordinated and agile.

And in conclusion, let's run a little ahead: what should we eventually see in the teams, in addition to the result?

The task of the Academy is to provide quality players to the youth team. Because the main team takes players from the double, and not directly from the Academy. Although there were cases, only getting into the double, in particular, Anton Terekhov and Nikolai Obolsky, have already begun to train with the main team. So the school did a good job. This means that these guys correspond to the level of the main team. The output should be just such players.

The times have come that it is necessary to create the backbone of the team from the Dynamo pupils. By the way, foreigners, at the level of the Premier League, should also be. They move football forward. But they must be stars and be head and shoulders above Russian athletes. Now, when there is such a combination, then the result will be added.

Young guys now have every chance to declare themselves, gain a foothold and become the face of the main team.

At one time, it was I who took him to work at Dynamo, - said Sergei Nikolaevich, namesake and peer of the current acting. head coach. - When at the end of 2010 he returned from the post of director of the Dynamo school to work with a double, the question arose about the assistant. In search, he turned to his old friend Andrei Leksakov (head of the Higher School of Coaches and the Academy of Coaching Skills, and now also the technical director of the RFU. - Approx. "SE"). We played together with him in the Dynamo school. Andrey recommended Sergey to me, who was about to leave the Spartak school.

    - What are your impressions of the joint activity?

In the very first days, I realized that Chikishev, on the one hand, has a docile nature, on the other, he is a real workaholic. He knows a lot about football and nevertheless constantly strives to replenish his knowledge. Translates methodological programs from English.

    - Does he speak English?

It's hard for me to judge because I don't own it. Maybe with a dictionary. But working with Sergei was good. I reported on the subject of the lessons, and he printed the instructions for the players on the computer.

    - Andrey Voronin said that Chikishev constantly walks with books, notebooks and teaching aids.

Exaggerates. But when I entered the locker room, all sorts of charts were already hung there, on which it was shown to whom during the exercises where to run, what to do. Such visual materials are very useful for football players, especially young people, and they also allow you not to waste time on explanations already on the field.

However, you did not work together for long. Four months. At the end of April 2011, Miodrag Bozovic received his resignation, and you were called up to the main team.

Yes, then, as now Sergei, I was appointed acting. head coach. But even after my transfer, we were in constant contact. I have always attended youth games. We also met and discussed issues related to both her and the main team. Communication was simplified by the fact that Chikishev lives at the base.

    - Probably not living, but living?

    No, he's still in Novogorsk.

    - Doesn't he have his own apartment in Moscow? And what about, excuse me, family?

She is in his native Omsk. As for the apartment, it is generally better to ask Sergei himself. At the same time, I think he loves his job so much that he is comfortable in Novogorsk. And for business, this is only a plus - the guys are under control.

    - In 2011, Chikishev came as an assistant to the head coach of the double. And then he became the main one?

He was both the main and again assistant under Dmitry Khokhlov.

    - At the same time, over the past six years, Dynamo won the youth teams tournament three times.

And now he is in the lead after defeating “Rostov” in this round. Kirill Novikov (son of the USSR champion in 1976 (spring) Alexander Novikov - note "SE") led the team's game, and Sergei Nikolaevich watched her with me from the podium.

By the way, what does your position as director of reserve training envisage? Do you focus on all levels of youth football at the club?

    School plus youth team.

What are Chikishev's football views? To put it simply, is he for attacking football or cautious in the spirit of Kobelev?

Come to the youth match and you will see everything. How can you be at the top with defensive football year after year?

    - And yet the appointment of your assistant once came as a surprise to you?

Yes. At the same time, Alexander Smirnov, who helped Kobelev, left with him. Apparently, the management is counting on an emotional outburst, which often happens when changing a coach. I would like to wish Chikishev and my own club success.
