    Biography

He is considered one of the best players in the history of modern Russia. Titov is a football player whose biography is filled with both ups and downs. However, the Russian midfielder always came out of every difficult situation with his head held high.

    early years

Titov Yegor Ilyich was born on May 29, 1976. The birthplace is Moscow. The future family was athletic. Yegor's father is a master of sports in speed skating. From an early age, the boy began to be assigned to a wide variety of sections. However, the sport associated with skating did not appeal to Yegor.

Titov is a football player who was fond of this sport from early childhood. Very often, the boy visited the stadium, where he watched the game, collected detailed information about famous players, and also watched almost all broadcasts on TV.

    The first steps

At the age of eight, Yegor Titov went to football classes at the Moscow school "Spartak". It was here that the footballer received his first skills, which were useful to him in the process of becoming a professional. It is worth noting that the school of the capital club was located quite far from the home of the novice football player. It is known that Yegor spent more than an hour on the road, and this is only one way. However, he did not even think about moving to another academy. Spartak became his dream. Thanks to his perseverance, Yegor Titov, a footballer whose career was just beginning, quickly attracted the attention of mentors. He was one of the most promising players of his age.

    Double play

Working hard in training, Titov attracted the attention of the coach of the reserve team of “Spartak”. Soon Titov, a footballer whose number in the capital's club was 9, put on the Spartak uniform. The most flattering reviews about his game he received from the coaching staff. However, due to the unsportsmanlike constitution of the football player, they were in no hurry to call the main team to the games.

Nevertheless, after a while, Titov's excellent performance made the coaches turn their attention to him. The decisive word, according to many experts, was introduced by the head coach of the Moscow club at that time. It was he who personally invited the midfielder to the main team and insisted on signing a contract with him.

    Core team

Ultimately, this decision turned out to be more than successful for both the team and the player. The player's debut took place in 1995. Right off the bat, he perfectly fit into the main team and in a fairly short period became one of the leading players. Yegor Titov is a Spartak footballer who often scored and also gave a lot of assists. Many fans and experts believe that the "Titov period" has become one of the best for the team from Moscow. Yegor Titov, a football player, whose photo at that time could be found in many newspapers and sports magazines, received the title of one of the strongest midfielders in Russia. Thanks to the dedication of the team leader, “Spartak” has become the strongest club in the country. During the thirteen years that Titov spent in the camp of the capital team, together with the club, he won six gold medals in the championship, and also helped to win two Russian Cups. “Spartak” was no less strong in European Cup games. Although the team failed to achieve significant results in the European arena, “Spartak” imposed the fight on many European giants.

    Leaving Spartak

In the summer of 2008, Spartak lost to CSKA. After that, Yegor Titov was transferred by Cherchesov to the backup team. Soon, due to the aggravated conflict, Titov was dismissed from the team.

    Khimki and Lokomotiv (Astana)

In August 2008 Titov joined Khimki. The team from the Moscow region at that time was an outsider. Soon, a statement by Yegor Titov appeared on the Spartak website, in which he expressed his hope for an early return to the camp of the Moscow club. A new contract with the Moscow Region team was signed before 2011. In “Khimki” he got number 90.

The end of 2008 turned out to be difficult for the team. The management announced that the club is suffering heavy financial losses. To get out of this situation, it was necessary to cut and offer them contracts on less favorable terms. Initially, Titov agreed to these terms. Nevertheless, in February 2009, the footballer decided to terminate the contract with the team from the Moscow region. The reason for leaving was a more interesting offer from Lokomotiv from Astana. According to the midfielder, he was interested in the opportunity to play with his former teammate Andrei Tikhonov.

A few days later, the players agreed to move to Lokomotiv (Astana), and soon contracts were signed with them. By the summer, the club from Astana had serious financial difficulties. Football players were not paid salaries, as well as bonuses. Lokomotiv managed to achieve significant success that season, having won silver in the championship of Kazakhstan. In the summer of 2010, information appeared that the management of Lokomotiv was negotiating with Titov.

Playing for Khimki and Lokomotiv (Astana), Yegor Titov managed to play in less than thirty matches.

    Completion of a career

After leaving “Spartak”, Yegor Titov was never able to shine in any other team. In 2009, he announced his retirement as a football player. Nevertheless, the midfielder could not completely end football. The following year, Titov played several matches for the small club "Artist". Two years later, the footballer played several matches for Arsenal Tula. In the autumn of the same year, Yegor Titov officially announced his retirement and played a farewell match in the Moscow “Spartak” against “Dynamo” from Kiev.

    Personal life

Almost all his life, Yegor Titov has been married to a woman named Victoria. He met his wife at the age of thirteen and immediately fell in love. Today he lives in Moscow and has two daughters.

During his life, Titov was able to prove himself not only in the role of an amazing football player, but also in the role of an actor, as well as a singer. NEW STARS « SPARTAKA» - Egor Titov

When I talked with Titov, he answered my questions so quickly that, in comparison with his tongue twister, my own speech seemed to me a slow recording ...

You, apparently, and in life do everything instantly?

    - Yes, I make a decision right away. And if I have any desire, I try to fulfill it right there.

And what about the desire to play football? When did it arise?

I was not seven years old when my cousin - he studied at the Spartak school - brought me to Spartak. Naturally, I did not mind. At first I played as a clean striker and scored a lot - on average, two goals per match. Well, about five years before graduation, I was transferred to the dispatcher. It was at this point that I was entrenched.

Three years ago, Oleg Romantsev said that you should be paid attention to. Did you know about this?

Yes. It so happened that Romantsev was present at my best match. A year before graduation, we played with CSKA - school for school. We won - 6: 0, then I scored four goals, and two - in the "nines" ... And Romantsev after the game said: "I take it."

And when were you taken on the double?

I just turned 16 years old. And before the match “Spartak” - “Dynamo” (it was won by “Spartak” with a score of 4: 3) we held a meeting with CSKA in Luzhniki. We won 2: 1, and when I came to the locker room, I was told that tomorrow at 1 pm I have to be on the bus, on which the double will go to Tarasovka. Naturally, I immediately began to tremble ...

Romantsev also said that you are not distinguished by special diligence in training.

Well, I don’t know ... This label has been glued to me since childhood: Titov, they say, is a lazy person.

But in reality it is not so?

So, to some extent. But this happens to everyone. Before, I could not overpower myself: if I don’t want to do something, then that’s all. I won't. But now, it seems to me, I have changed.

As far as I can tell, your greatest pleasure is the stroke ...

Yes. My first coach Anatoly Fedoseevich Korolev always told me: "Take the ball and beat." I did just that - I circled six people.

You create moments, but unfortunately you rarely score.

I myself do not know how to explain this. When I played at school, I scored all the time. Then he scored only 15 goals in 90 matches in the double, and this season, playing for the first team, he scored only three goals. Few, of course. But my main task is not to score, but to bring my partners to shock positions.

How many goals did you score after your passes?

    Five or six.

Which of your programs did you enjoy yourself?

The one that I did to Kechinov when we played in Volgograd. I was in the area of eleven meters, Mamedov handed the ball to me, and with my head - with one touch - I transferred it to Kechinov's leg. He hit and scored since the summer.

Among your partners today are the guys with whom you trained together at the Spartak school. Which of them do you interact especially well with?

With Volodya Dzhubanov, with whom we have been playing together since the age of seven. I always feel if he is somewhere near. I give the pass without looking, and the ball rolls on it by itself.

Does football intuition help you in your life? Well, for example, if "Hairpin" is on TV, guess which ball the money is hidden in?

Yes, four times out of five. But here it is not a matter of intuition - you have to watch how it is done. You can see everything there.

What comments do Yartsev make to you most often?

He says that with my height, I have no right not to fight at the top. I myself feel it and try to improve my game in this component. I also lack physical strength. Therefore, I work out in the gym every day.

Are you satisfied with yourself or would you like to be born different?

Satisfied, except for some of my qualities.

    Which ones?

I am very stubborn. And even if I lose, I still try to prove that I almost won or should have won.

What are your hobbies besides football?

I love tennis... Previously, I myself played a little, but now there is no time for that. So I watch tennis on TV.

If you like a girl ...

I will definitely go to her myself. But today only football exists for me. Previously, I only dreamed about football: in a dream I scored some incredible goals, through myself, for example. True, now there is less football in my dreams.

Do you think "Spartak" has a chance to compete in the Russian championship for the first place?

Yes, if we do not lose points as it happened in the match against Lada. In football, of course, it is impossible to guess, but we will fight to the last.

    Andrey BATASHEV, Alexander KRUZHKOV

Supplement to the newspaper "Sport-Express" - "Football from SE" No. 37, 1996

    WHEN THE STARS WERE SMALL

EGOR TITOV STARED IN MIND FROM CHILD

The fact that Yegor Titov will play in the national team, his first coach Anatoly KOROLEV told the future captain of “Spartak” when he was still mastering the basics of football.

Yegor came to my Spartak school in 83rd, '' recalls Korolev. - He was seven years old, and even then he stood out from the rest of the brain. Therefore, the first thing I thought about looking at him: "We must take."

What does "stand out by the brains" mean?

It's easy to see, but hard to explain. The coach must intuitively feel the potential inherent in nature. You see, the boy was already a real little football player: correct, "football" movements, correct approach to different elements.

Which of his qualities manifested itself most vividly after the first trainings?

Amazing ability to assimilate everything new. Some boys have to hammer, chew each element several times. They understand what is required of them - but after a year. Yegor caught everything on the fly.

But surely he also had disadvantages?

He was not very strong physically. I knew from the very beginning that Yegor was a born haw, but at first he simply didn’t have the strength to play in the middle. Therefore, I put him on the offensive, although I did not drive him into a rigid framework. And he also did not like to beat opponents one-on-one. I had to force.

Titov, by the way, is now often accused of avoiding the fight. What do you say to that?

    - I will say that he is not a fool, and will not fight for a clearly lost ball. Why risk it in vain? Every now and then we hear how coaches, even in the top division, praise a player who goes head-on to the ball that the opponent has on his feet. They say - "hero". And for me, this is not heroism, but stupidity. But Yegor was never a coward. If he feels that he will be the first on the ball, he goes to the end.

Now your pupil wears a captain's armband in "Spartak". Has he also had leadership qualities since childhood?

Depends on what you mean. There are people who believe: the captain must yell, put pressure on partners. Yegor has never been like that. He has a different kind of character, a different upbringing. Yes, and I tried to do everything so that he did not become a boor or an impudent person. Authority from partners should be earned not by impudence, but by playing. Yegor succeeds in this.

Remember how you parted with him?

In 1993 we played against CSKA, at that time a very decent team, and won 6: 0. Then they said that Yegor worked wonders in this match. In fact, he played, as usual, at his level. Well, maybe a little better. All this happened before the eyes of Oleg Ivanovich (Romantsev. - Approx. G.K.). He then had much more free time, and he managed to attend the matches of the school and youth teams. He liked Titov. A few days later, I announced to Yegor that it was time for him to go to the team of craftsmen.

Were you ready for this development of events?

Of course. I remember that in training I often said to him: "Try to do this and that. Difficult? And in Spartak and in the national team the requirements are even higher. When you play in the USSR national team, you will remember me!"

All "hee hee" yes "ha ha" ... Laughed at my words. But he dreamed of “Spartacus” no less than the others.

Becoming a star, Titov has not forgotten the first coach?

We communicate regularly, although not often. Yegor now has a family, a little daughter. And I don't have much time either. We meet at weddings and birthdays of mutual acquaintances. I am very pleased that the guys are still friends, and Egor is always ready to help old friends.

    What are you talking about?

What can football players talk about? About football, of course. It happens that we renounce remembering him, but after five minutes the conversation still switches to familiar topics. Football for all of us is life, and life is football.

Do you give Egor any advice?

No, in “Spartak” he has someone to get advice from.

Does Yegor still have reserves for growth?

Yes, he does not have reserves, but the Klondike!

Now in the Spartak school are there guys at least remotely comparable to Titov?

There are no such bright ones. But a few talented guys are learning. Only I will not give you names: God forbid, they will still be proud. And you have to work with them, and more than one year. Unfortunately, no one will be able to enter the field and play in the Champions League.

You are probably offended that only Titov remained in Spartak.

Yes, for example, Meleshin and Movsesyan are also my pupils. But there were also Dzhubanov, Rekuts, Burov, Gunko ... Speaking for the double, they smashed everyone in a row. And none of them played in the main line-up. I understand that we put the momentary result at the forefront. But I remember how Nikolai Petrovich Starostin told me: “I want to live up to the time when 11 of our guys will play in“ Spartak ”. And I answered - "It would be better to have all 16 (as many could be included in the application for the match)." I am still sure that until the team has at least five or six pupils of the school, serious success will not be achieved. Our footballers are the carriers of the team spirit. They play not only for money.

Remember how the team was revived twenty years ago, when Rodionov, Cherenkov and others joined it. That "Spartak" had a face, people went to him. Now Zenit and Rotor have chosen the same path. I really hope that we too will someday turn our faces to our school.

« THE LAST FIVE YEARS HAVE GOTHERED AS TWO DAYS»

Previously, players could play for one team for decades, but now, both in the world and in Russia, they are just right to be included in the Red Book. The midfielder of the Russian national football team Yegor Titov, if you like, can be entered in the red and white book - for 23 years he has been faithful to the colors of the Spartak club, to which he came at the age of seven and still plays. He turned 30 yesterday.

    IN THE COMMUNAL WITH COCKROACHES

What are your first memories in your life?

They are connected with my first apartment in a house near the Avtozavodskaya metro station. It was an ordinary communal apartment where my mother, grandmother, grandfather and me lived in the same room. I remember the shared bathroom and toilet and the eternal queue at them. There was a garbage chute in the kitchen, next to which cockroaches always frolicked. About seven years ago, I came to see my childhood home. The strongest impression was made by the courtyard. How small he is! And then it seemed of immense size. My first thought: "My God, how did we live here?"

    Favorite early childhood toy?

Children's car with pedals. I drove it around our communal apartment.

    Favorite children's cartoon?

I liked drawn cartoons. But he hated dolls. If in "Good night, kids" there was a puppet cartoon, you could go to bed.

When did you first go out to play a ball?

Earlier I started to play not the ball, but the puck. I was either 4 or 5 years old when my grandfather once took me into the "box". Before the school itself, we moved to my father's apartment on Voikovskaya. They have already played hockey with a tennis ball - if it hits the knee, it doesn't hurt as much as a puck. The gate was made from boxes that were taken from the nearest grocery store. And I had a real club - Alexander Maltsev himself. True, all broken, but no less expensive for me.

Where did you get this rarity?

His friend hockey player Mikhail Tatarinov gave it to his father - remember such a defender of the USSR national team with a deadly throw. In the same place, at Voikovskaya, they constantly drove the ball. Trees stood right under our windows, like football goals. The windows were broken several times. Most of all, one angry guy from our entrance, who lived on the first floor, got it. He often took the ball away from us. I always tried to sneak past his door quickly and unnoticed.

    Do you remember Brezhnev?

I remember. When he died, symphonic music was broadcast on television all week. I really didn't like it.

    RECORD - EIGHT ESCIMO

What is the worst punishment in childhood?

I don’t remember being seriously punished or restricted in any way. I was an eerie sweet tooth - I especially loved ice cream. Once, secretly from his parents, he sneaked to the refrigerator and ate eight popsicles. This is a record. By the way, I still love ice cream.

How did you do in school?

The first three years - for "five" and "four". From the fourth grade he moved from a regular school to a Spartak school. There, naturally, football loads increased and their academic performance decreased proportionally. In the sixth grade I only switched to "fours", and from the seventh grade - it began ... All records in "twos" were broken. Once I got eight of them in a year - mostly for not attending classes. There was not enough time for study. You come home after training and go straight to bed to sleep. And the next day, workout at eight thirty in the morning, which means the rise is at six.

    Favorite subject at school?

Chemistry. Because when we entered the classroom, our chemist uttered a wonderful phrase: "Who wants to study, stay, and who came to mess around, go about your business." We immediately got up and went to play football. At the same time, there were no punishments. For this we loved the chemistry teacher and her subject.

    And the unloved one?

Physics. There was a stern teacher with a big mustache. He constantly scolded us. We, fools, what we need is to laugh, to joke, and the physicist was too serious, like his subject.

    Fought as a child?

Happened. As a rule, skirmishes occurred during football. Someone hit someone in the game, the ball to the side and ... And then we quickly put up.

    - Were you a pioneer?

Was. In the fourth grade, we were tied with red ties.

    What have you collected?

Stamps. Sports topics prevailed. In my opinion, my collection is still kept somewhere by my father. And in 1990 he collected a collection of Panini football stickers issued for the World Cup in Italy. Then we went with the guys to the sports book store on Sretenka.

    FORM WITHOUT RHOMBIC

When did you realize that you would become a professional footballer?

I realized that I love football and will always play it when I was a child. And I realized that he would become my profession at the age of 16, when I was finishing school and received my first salary in double. I realized that in addition to pleasure, you can also earn money.

At what age did you first put on your Spartak T-shirt?

At seven years old. Spartakovskaya, however, it is difficult to call it. It is now in our school that children from a young age are dressed in a branded red and white uniform, and then we wore ordinary white T-shirts without stripes and diamonds. About a year and a half later, our coach Anatoly Fedoseevich Korolev said: "Guys, get ready: we have our first game on Saturday."

    Remember her?

Alas. All that remains in our memory is what we played in our arena in Sokolniki, and for the first time a Spartak rhombus appeared on white T-shirts. But I remember well the first match with the non-Moscow team - against the "Daugava". It began at 11 o'clock in the morning, and Korolyov released everyone from school. We were insanely happy and defeated the residents of Riga - 16: 0. The first international game was played against the Americans. More heads were hammered into them. The people are full of arena, all the parents have come. But the most important thing was after the match, when the exchange of souvenirs began - badges, pennants, T-shirts ...

Do you remember the day when you came to enroll in the Spartak school?

I remember. I arrived with my parents, uncle and cousin. There were already classes for the boys born in 1975. My brother took my hand and turned to coach Belov: "Can Egor join your group?" The coach, learning that I was a year younger, replied: "You need to see the Queen." And he, having appeared 15 minutes later, immediately said: "Come tomorrow at five in the evening." I arrived and changed. Korolyov threw a ball to our heap, and we started playing holes-holes. I remember I was good at interacting with one boy. We won, and it went on and on.

How many championship titles have you won in school?

We have won almost all summer and winter championships in Moscow. Maybe a couple of times in ten years our team of players born in 1976 lost the championship to Dynamo and once to CSKA. In the spring of 92, they became the champions of Russia, having won the final tournament in Saratov.

GIVEN THE FIRST MONEY TO THE PARENTS

The first football you watched on TV?

1984 year. “Spartak” met with someone on the road and drew. I watched almost all Spartak matches in 1986 and 1987. I remember very well our victories in Kiev, the World Championship in Mexico. Match with Hungary - 6: 0. I followed mainly the Spartak players - Dasaev, Rodionov, who then scored one of the goals. Nightmare match with the Belgians. The game was ours, and the Belgians made it to the quarterfinals. I was very upset then.

When did you make your first money?

In 1989, at the Bobrov Memorial Tournament, where he played for the Moscow team. For each match won, there was a bonus of 10 rubles. We won 6 wins in 6 meetings. It turned out 60 rubles - for 13-year-old boys it was a lot of money.

    What were they spent on?

I gave it to my parents.

And what was the first salary of a 16-year-old understudy of Spartak?

I remember they gave out a large wad of money in small bills - 1200 rubles. Mom then earned less. I was very proud of myself.

    Remember your first trip abroad?

Yes. In 1990, our team went to a mini-football tournament in the German city of Borken. We took first place, and I was recognized as the best footballer. There is a photograph of me being presented with a prize of 200 German marks. With this money I bought a radio tape recorder for my father. An unpleasant incident happened before the tournament. We went with the guys to the supermarket, we had no money, and we tried to steal some trifle. The guard caught me. Then, having found out who I was and where I came from, I let go. From shame I was ready to sink into the ground.

When did you first try alcohol?

Then - in Borken. Our tournament coincided with the New Year holidays, which were also celebrated there. All teams lived in the same hostel. Germans and Americans settled in our neighborhood. They were older. On New Year's Eve, they poured out onto the street and began to drink champagne. We brought vodka caviar and cigarettes "Belomorkanal" from Russia. We were poured champagne, we sipped. Then they realized that the foreigners got drunk and brought them our goods. I sold a bottle of vodka to some drunken German for 20 marks. He took a sip straight from his throat, put it back and left. I still have a bottle of vodka and 20 marks in my hands. The business turned out to be successful.

Have you tried smoking at school?

Of course. In the tenth grade, I wanted to seem like adults. Childishness. Once they went from school to the arena, smoked and did not notice the Queen. And he came up to me and said sternly: "Yegor, so that he would tell his parents everything tonight!" In the evening of the same day, I had a conversation with my father. He explained everything to me, and the topic of smoking was settled.

FATHER CRYING WHEN I FIRST BECAME A CHAMPION

When did you buy your first car?

    - In 1996, during a pause in the Russian championship associated with the European championship. Then I saved up some money and bought myself a beige "eight". I passed my license even earlier, together with Lipko, Shirko and Konovalov, went to Tekstilshchiki. There Zhilyaev organized everything for us. In the exams, he made one mistake in theory, and Lipko answered all the questions without hesitation. Six months later I bought a BMW. Then he gave it to Meleshin, later it turned out that this car had been on the wanted list for a long time. Meleshin suffered with her for a long time. Then I bought an Audi, which I was cheated with. After her "Lexus". I drove it for a long time. The next one was the Audi C8, a cool car that was brought to me from Germany. Then - a Mercedes jeep. And finally, Audi again. V recent times It is impossible to drive normally in Moscow. Traffic jams are creepy. Recently I set a "record" - I drove from home to base for 4 hours and 40 minutes. Naturally, I was late for training - I barely had time for dinner.

What was your most memorable moment of the 1996 championship?

We return to Moscow after the golden match. With Dzhubanov and Meleshin we are going to my house. The door is opened by the father, who came from St. Petersburg before us. He looks at me, and his tears are flowing from happiness ...

Did anything memorable happen in your life that year?

In Ramenki, he renovated an apartment and began to live independently without parents.

    Did you cook yourself too?

Yes. But more often he ate at the base. Then we stopped at Tarasovka two days before the game. In the same year, I bought my first mobile phone, a Motorola with a long antenna. I remember that our doctor Yuri Vasilkov walked with this ancient telephone for another five years. And then he was worth crazy money, but he caught the signal everywhere - in any basement!

Which Spartak team got the first mobile phone?

Nigmatullin had it back in 1995. He and Ananko.

In 2001, when you turned 25, Spartak became the champion of Russia for the last time. Then you might think this is the last time you win gold?

And I did not admit such a thought. It seemed to me that "Spartak" will be the champion forever!

Do you regret that at that time you did not go abroad, in particular, to “Bavaria”, which showed great interest in you?

I don’t know, maybe in five years and I’ll regret it. But now there is no such feeling. I have been in Spartak since I was seven, and everything suits me here.

Nowadays it is very rare when a person has been playing for one club for so many years. Have you thought about it?

I thought about it. Of the European footballers, only the names of Raul, Guti and Maldini come offhand. Until recently, Sergei Semak was in CSKA. Sergei Ovchinnikov also gave ten years to Lokomotiv, but he had a break due to his departure to Portugal ...

    FEELING 25

When did you meet your wife Veronica?

April 16, 1997. The whole family went to visit - my parents were friends with Veronica's parents. It was there that we met. The next day I left for the training camp before the match in Naberezhnye Chelny. Then he returned, called her, and we went for a walk on the Arbat. After a while, Veronica moved in with me. For about three years we lived in a civil marriage, and then got married.

Did you realize from the first date that in front of you is your future spouse?

At first, no. But when Veronica moved to me, I immediately realized that our relationship would result in something more than friendship. I felt comfortable with her. And this is very important.

Do you feel your age at 30?

    - No. I feel about 25 years old. In my opinion, what I was then, I have remained the same.

    Remember your 25th birthday well?

Down to the smallest details. The birthday was celebrated at the dacha. I'm thirty now. The last five years have passed like two days. They contained so many events!

    Which way have you changed?

I think for the best. At least many of the stupid things that I did in my youth, I would not do now in any case. I understand that at the age of 20 I was like a child.

How much have you done by the age of 30?

Almost nothing. Many peers have almost everything. They are provided for - they live and enjoy life. In the morning they wake up and do what they want. I can’t afford this. As for money, it’s easy to part with it. I love making gifts. It's more pleasant for me to give than to receive.

What is the most valuable thing in life for you?

Is your daughter going to school this year?

We are inclined towards the fact that no. At six and a half years old, it is too early to go to the current schools. The loads for children are crazy. We want to extend Anyuta's childhood for another year.

What is the dream of footballer Titov?

About leaving beautifully. Naturally, from his native “Spartacus”. Play a farewell match, after which I could approach each partner and fan and say with a clear conscience: "I gave everything to the team."

But it will not be soon?

Hope. Up to 35 - 36 years old I would like to be useful to “Spartak”.

And what does Titov's man dream of?

About her daughter becoming a great tennis player, because sport makes a person sincere and strong. And athletes make real people. I know this for sure.

    « FUNERAL EARLY, GUYS!»
    "Sport-Express" , 19.09.2008
Yegor Titov looked at us with laughing eyes - as if he wanted to ask: well, brothers, didn't you expect? I looked - but did not ask. And we thought: is this cheerful and light-hearted young man really the same former captain who was kicked out of Spartak for a month? In the end, Yegor laughed at our ingenuity, our intonations: "Guys, I'm fine!" We believed ...

« FAMILY AND TEAM MUST BE ONE»
"Sports day after day" , 16-22.12.2009
Somehow somehow in the XXI century Yegor Titov didn’t go, he didn’t ask himself too much. Titov met the Millennium at the golden age by football standards, at the zenith of fame, in captivity of completely justified illusions about his own football future. And from today, from now it is clear that the beginning of the century introduced tough edits to this wonderful picture ...

    « I WILL NOT BE BACK»
    "Sport-Express" , 09.07.2010
Having completed his football career, Titov is fresh and fit. It seemed to us that this is not what people look like when they discuss the details of their own farewell match. Yegor did not understand and did not approve of the feigned sympathy in our eyes. Probably right - his current life is really not so bad. He plays for the "Artist" team, travels all over the country, earns decent money, takes his daughter to tennis tournaments. Why sympathy? ..

Yegor Ilyich Titov, aka Titov (born May 29, 1976) is the legendary midfielder of the People's Team, two-time winner of the Golden Boar, the unsurpassed maestro of Stenochek and Zabagany.

    He balls to anyone
    Always ready to score
He is the favorite of the whole people!
    Who is he? Egor Titov!

From the age of seven on my shirt, not the letter "D", not the letter "L", not "CSKA", but Spartakovsky Rhombik. I'm proud of that. And I can't imagine myself in any Russian team, except for “Spartak”.

At the turn of the century, Titov's outstanding football skills did not leave indifferent many foreign breeders, who passionately longed to get the Red-White Playmaker into their soulless under-clubs. Fortunately, the perspicacious management of “Spartak” has always put a stop to the criminal encroachments of the so-called. "European grandees" for the purchase of dear Yegor Ilyich:

    Titov and Bayern Munich

    - The proposal was formulated personally by the president and head coach Oleg Romantsev, as well as vice president Grigory Esaulenko. Incidentally, they were outraged why “Bavaria” is not directly addressing. Well, the sum was called crazy at that time - $ 20 million. Subsequently, Esaulenko asked if there was any written confirmation from “Bavaria”. Then I showed him a fax from the reception of general manager Uli Höhness. It said: "With this letter we once again confirm our interest in Yegor Titov. We will contact you on November 17, 2000 ... Gwen Lloyd, executive secretary of the reception office of Uli Höhness."

    - How did Bayern Munich react to Spartak's offer of twenty million?

    - Beckenbaeur just threw up his hands. “For twenty million we will buy three good players,” he said. In his opinion, Titov was quite suitable for the scheme of “Bavaria”, but was not worth the money. As a result, the Germans formulated the final answer: they are ready to pay from 8 to 10 million. On this, everything calmed down.

    - What money did Titov make at Spartak at that time? And how much could you get at Bayern?

    - “Spartak” could give him about 350 thousand dollars a year. Titov would have earned about a million in the same period at Bayern.

    - Did Egor know about the interest from Europe? Was he ready to leave?

    - When a person is offered to move to a top club and are promised three times more salary, such a question loses its meaning. I did not discuss with Egor the proposal from “Bavaria”. But even in “Spartak” they did not tell him anything. We didn't want him to leave, because the whole game was based on him.

If a friend suddenly turned out to be ...

Later it turned out that Titov drew his great athletic strength from the blessed Bromantane, in the use of which he was caught by the enemies of the Sect in 2003. As a result of this revelation, the great martyr Yegory was excommunicated from football for the whole of 2004, during which he, however, did not fall in spirit, but sang merry psalms and kneaded sore groins with Kolya Trubachom. After the end of his disqualification, Titov continued to delight the fans with his filigree technique and in 2006 was elected captain of the People's Team. Some of the Spartakites, however, had every reason to suspect Yegor Ilyich of falsifying the elections and accuse him of illegitimacy:

    Titus (left) and the dog

In addition to Kovalevski, there was another charismatic gate guard with an equally low opinion of the new captain:

    - In “Spartacus”, and it is not a secret, there was an anti-political coalition. Goalkeepers Kovalevski and Zuev directly say: "Titov did not stand for us." Zuev even dedicated lines to you in the song: "We thought he was a decent guy ..."

    - In “Spartacus” there is an owner - Fedun, to whom the player cannot get through. And there was Shavlo, who received us, but at the same time did not decide anything at all. Neither Kovalevsky nor Zuev have I done anything wrong. Probably, he should have gone to Shavlo, banged his fist on the table and barked: "Kovalevsky and Zuev will play in Spartak, period!" But what is the use of this? It's not my fault that they put it in Fedun's ears, that Kowalewski is bad and needs to be removed.

Having broken the resistance of the antititist coalition, Yegoriy in 2008 recklessly desired the speedy return of the blessed Romantsev to the People's Team, which greatly angered the physical education instructor Cherchesov. A direct consequence of this conflict was the sudden transfer of Titov to the double, and then his departure from “Spartak”.

I have already been in Nalchik this year with Spartak. The trip was memorable. That match was the first when Cherchesov left me on the bench without giving any reason. I only later understood why this Ossetian psychosis happened. The fact is that a few days before the match, rumors circulated in our team that Oleg Ivanovich Romantsev might return to Spartak. When I heard about this, I approached the team doctor Vasilkov, who communicates with Oleg Ivanovich, and asked if it was true. And super-doctor Vasilkov ran to Cherchesov and reported on our conversation. Doctor 36.6. Pharmacy ... I don't know what happened to Cherchesov, but from what I asked Vasilkov if the information about Romantsev was true, he concluded that I was opposed to him and harbored a grudge. Buried deeply and for a long time. Such is the story.

Of course, the vengeful mambets were outraged to the depths of their souls by such accusations, and the most violent of them threatened to tear off Yegor Ilyich's legs and other vital parts of the body at a personal meeting. These tragic circumstances forced the 33-year-old Titov to end his playing career and flee to Russia, where, as you might guess, he immediately became a reputable football expert and for many years specialized in criticizing Spartak:

To be honest, I've sometimes smoothed corners in my comments. But now it has come to the point where you just want to cry. No thought, no football, nothing. In many cases, players do not understand what to do, what maneuver to make on the field.

In the summer of 2015, Titov finally got the long-awaited chance, not in word, but in deed, to help the People's Team, entering, along with Ananko, into the coaching staff of Senator-Alenichev in order to show the current Spartak players what such maneuvers are required to be performed on the football field. Alas, for the year of work of the trinity of coaches "with Spartak History" the Red-White was driven by the muzzle no less than during the times of Emery and Yakin, and in August 2016 after the Liga-European humiliation of "Spartak" by the Larnaca AEK ( 0:1) Yegor Ilyich, following Dmitry Anatolyevich, was fired without severance pay.

Yegor Titov is one of the brightest players in the modern history of Russia. A whole era is associated with his name in the Moscow "Spartak" and the national team of the Russian Federation. This talented midfielder has had many ups and downs in his career, but he always came out of every situation with his head held high.

Egor Titov. All goals are for Spartak. Part 1.

Yegor Titov is a man who has always sincerely loved football.

Yegor Titov is a man in whose life there were many bright moments.

    Egor Titov's childhood and family

The future famous footballer was born into a sports family. His father was a master of sports in speed skating, and therefore, at an early age, he actively “wooed” his only son into various sections and groups related to this sports discipline. However, little Yegor realized early enough that skating was "not his", and therefore very soon left this occupation.

Football is a completely different matter. Titov dreamed of this sport from an early age. He often visited the stadium, diligently collected information about his favorite football players, and also did not miss a single sports broadcast on television. At the age of eight, the young guy enrolled in the football school of the Moscow "Spartak", where he later became a professional footballer.

It is quite remarkable that the "Spartak" school was located quite far from Yegor Titov's house. According to some reports, the trip in one direction only took about 75 minutes. However, the future footballer did not even think about moving to another academy. Spartak was his dream, and Yegor Titov did not even think about simpler solutions. He worked diligently in training and very soon became one of the most promising players of his age.

In 1992, the young player was noticed by the coach of the backup team, Viktor Zernov, and very soon Titov tried on the "Spartak" uniform for the first time. Subsequently, for almost three years in a row, the footballer played for the brace of Moscow Spartak. His game was noted by the coaches, however, due to his not quite athletic build, they were in no hurry to let Yegor into the games of the main team.

However, some time later, the bright successes of the young player forced the coaches of the main team to reconsider their opinion about him. The decisive word, as some note, in that story was said by Oleg Romantsev. Main coach Spartak players personally invited the young Titov to the Moscow team and insisted on signing a full-length contract with the young player.

    Yegor Titov's sports career

In the end, this step turned out to be more than successful. Debuting in 1995 as part of one of the most titled clubs in Russia, Yegor did not get lost in the team and very quickly became one of the main stars of that team. He scored frequently and handed out assists frequently. It was during this period that the young player was talked about as one of the brightest midfielders in the sovereign history of Russia. As some fans and journalists note, the “Titov period” has become one of the brightest periods in the history of Moscow “Spartak”. Led by its leader, the club from the capital of Russia soon became one of the strongest teams in the national championship. For thirteen years, during which Yegor Titov played for Spartak, the team won gold medals in the Russian championship six times, and also became a two-time winner of the National Cup. During these years "Spartak" represented a serious force in the European arena as well. However, the Russian team still failed to achieve significant success in the Champions League or the UEFA Cup.

As for the personal achievements of Yegor Titov, in this regard, the player also has something to be proud of. Between 1998 and 2001, the midfielder topped the list of the brightest players in the Russian Championship nine times. In 1998 and 2000, the attacking midfielder of the Moscow Spartak was recognized as the best footballer of the Russian Federation by two authoritative publications at once - the Sport Express newspaper and the Football magazine.

    Egor Titov now

In 2012, after the end of his professional career, Yegor was recognized as the best midfielder of the Russian championship in the entire history of its existence.

The career of a football player in the national team of his country was also successful. From 1998 to 2007, Yegor Titov was one of the most important players in that team. Despite the lack of serious team successes, the midfielder has always stood out for his brilliant play and has even been in the sphere of interests of Bayern Munich for a long time.

Yegor Titov's farewell match: Circle of honor

After thirteen seasons in the Moscow "Spartak" (the 2004 championship the player was forced to miss due to disqualification) Yegor Titov left the club. The reason for this was a conflict with the head coach, who no longer saw the aging player in the first team.

In 2008, the player moved to the Khimki club near Moscow, and from there to the Lokomotiv Astana. However, in both teams he played less than thirty games.

Thus, Yegor was unable to play somewhere other than Spartak. In 2009, the player officially announced the end of his professional football career. However, Titov could not finally say goodbye to football. In 2010, the midfielder played several matches for the amateur club "Artist". Two years later, the former Spartak Moscow player also briefly appeared in the semi-professional Arsenal club from the city of Tula.

    Other achievements of Yegor Titov

During his career, Yegor Titov managed to try himself in the role of an actor and singer. In 2004, together with the pop singer Nikolai Trubach, the footballer recorded the song "What kind of people we are." Several years later, Yegor also starred in the cameo role of a neighbor in the film "33 square meters".

    Personal life of Yegor Titov

For almost his entire life, the footballer has been married to a woman named Veronica. According to Yegor Titov, he met his future wife at the age of 13 and since then has been in love with her.

Currently, the couple lives in Moscow and brings up two daughters - Anna and Ulyana.

2014 marked the 20th anniversary of Russian football championships. By the decision of a special jury, Yegor Titov was recognized as the best midfielder of the Russian championships for this entire period. Well, it's hard to disagree with this decision.

Biography and career of a football player

Yegor Titov was born in Moscow into a sports family. His father, Ilya Vladimirovich Titov, is a master of sports in speed skating. However, Yegor did not follow in his father's footsteps, at the age of 8 he was enrolled in the football school of the Moscow "Spartak".

    "Spartacus"

    1992-2008

In 1995, 19-year-old Titov made his debut for the first team of Spartak (that season the permanent champions of Russia lost the title to Vladikavkaz Alania), and a year later he became the undisputed player in the starting lineup.

Football intelligence is the main advantage of Yegor Titov. I am not afraid to say that a football player equal to him in this quality in the newest Russian history it just wasn't. After all, the vision of the field and the ability to give an accurate pass is one thing, but non-standard thinking and the ability to confuse an opponent with non-trivial moves, and to do this not from time to time, but on an ongoing basis, is quite another.

You can even go further here. Personally, I think that the potential of Yegor Titov is quite comparable to that of Andres Iniesta, and if he had gone to a foreign club in his time, it is quite possible that he would have stood on a par with these masters. However, I will return to this question later.

But even without this, the career of footballer Yegor Titov cannot but command respect - for almost fifteen years he was the think tank of Spartak, the organizer of his attacks and the favorite of the red-white torsida.

And in the late 90s - early 2000s, the Spartacists not only reigned supreme in the Russian expanses, but were also a fairly serious force in Europe. Leaving the Champions League group was not an out of the ordinary event for the team, and in 1998 Spartak reached the semi-final of the UEFA Cup - a tournament much stronger than the current Europa League (Spartak, for example, lost in the semifinals to Inter Milan ”S, Sanetti, Djorkaeff, Simeone, Zamorano).

Yegor Titov's best match for Spartak? God forbid! There were so many of these games that you can't remember everything. But still I will single out three of them.

    • March 2, 1997. UEFA Cup quarter-finals, first match against Ajax in Amsterdam. Contrary to all forecasts, "Spartak" wins 3: 1, and does it beautifully and gracefully, on account of Yegor Titov two excellent assists.

    • September 30, 1998. "Spartak" in the match of the second round of the group round of the Champions League meets with Real Madrid, the current winner of the trophy. Strong-willed victory of Muscovites 2: 1. Yegor Titov scored the winning goal.
    • October 17, 2000. Again the Champions League, the fourth round match in Lisbon against Sporting. Yegor Titov makes a double and after his cross, the player of the Portuguese club cuts the ball into his own goal. "Spartak" wins 3: 0 and clears the way out of the group.

I repeat, this list can be supplemented with dozens of other games, apparently those matches are simply engraved in my memory, since such victories are extremely rare for domestic clubs to please us.

When Spartak fell from the top Russian football Yegor Titov remained almost the brightest spot in the team's game, and then, with his active participation, the “red-whites” returned to the ranks of the leaders of national football (though now not the only one).

The story of Titov's parting with Spartak was not very beautiful. After the defeat in the 13th round of the 2008 Russian Championship from CSKA (1: 5), the then coach of Muscovites transferred Yegor Titov and Maxim Kalinichenko to a double, and after which they were put up for transfer.

With all due respect to Stanislav Salamovich, in my opinion, this was an attempt to find the extreme. By the way, she did not save Cherchesov - he was fired from his post as head coach a month after the events described.

    Other clubs

    2008-2012

I did not accidentally combine further club career Yegor Titov under the general title, because there is not much to talk about there. Titov finished the 2008 season at Khimki, which he helped to avoid relegation from the elite division.

Then he spent one year in Astana, where, together with another Spartak player (in relation to these guys, the phrase “former Spartak player” is unacceptable) became the silver medalist of the Kazakhstan championship.

This was the end of the career of professional footballer Yegor Titov. In the 2011-2012 season, at the invitation of another Spartak partner, he will play several matches for Arsenal Tula, but this will be in the amateur football league.

    Russian team

    1998-2007

For the Russian national team, Yegor Titov made his debut in the fall of 1998 in the Euro 2000 qualifying match against the French national team. For nine years, he played 41 matches for the national team, in which he scored 7 goals.

I must say that that period was far from the best in the history of the Russian team. We missed the 2000 European Championships, the 2006 World Championships, and Yegor Titov did not go to Euro 2004 due to the disqualification, which will be discussed below.

Thus, the only major tournament in the national team for Titov was the 2002 World Cup. He then scored the first goal of the national team in the opening match against Tunisia (2: 0), but the Russians did not leave the group in the end.

When he headed the Russian national team, he unexpectedly began to use Titov in place of the defensive midfielder. Yegor played great away match against Macedonia (2: 0), but after losing a friendly match against the Dutch national team in February 2007, he announced the end of his performances for the Russian national team.

    Disqualification of Yegor Titov

At the very beginning of 2004, Yegor Titov found himself at the center of a doping scandal. UEFA suspended the player for a year after bromantane, a drug that increases endurance, was found in his blood. Doctors "Spartak" suggested that bromantane could be contained in the cold medicine rimantadine, taken by Titov on the eve of sampling.

By the way, these same samples were taken after the end of the first butt match qualifying tournament of the European Championship 2004 Russia - Wales (0: 0). Titov also took part in the return match won by the Russian team, which gave the representatives of Wales a reason to insist on awarding the Russian national team a technical defeat, or a replay.

True, everything worked out. For the Russian national team, but not for Yegor Titov.

    Egor Titov - coach

During the year (from June 2015 to August 2016) Yegor Titov worked in the coaching staff of Spartak, which was headed by Dmitry Alenichev. In the summer of 2017, Alenichev headed the Yenisei FNL club and Titov helps him in Krasnoyarsk.

    Titles of Yegor Titov

    1. Six-time champion of Russia.
    2. Two-time Russian Cup winner.

Family and personal life of Yegor Titov

Yegor Titov was familiar with his wife Veronica since childhood, the couple are raising two daughters - Anna and Ulyana.

    • Yegor Titov is a member of the Grigory Fedotov club and the 100 Russian scorers club.
    • Egor Titov was “wooed” several times into the strongest European clubs. The most realistic was his move to Bayern in 2000, but Spartak asked for an unthinkable $ 20 million at that time, while Bayern was ready to pay 8 at once and 2 different bonuses.
    • On September 9, 2012, Yegor Titov's farewell match took place, in which Spartak beat Dynamo Kiev with a score of 5: 3.
    • Spartak is our everything. Revelations of the idol of the "red and white" - this is the name of the autobiographical book of Yegor Titov.

    • "Who are we - meat!"
    • During the period of disqualification, Yegor Titov tried himself in the role of an actor and a singer - he starred in the television series "Team" and, together with his friend Nikolai Trubach, recorded the song "What are we people".
    • And a few years ago they created a joint business project. Titov and Trubach organized the Artist LLC, which organizes matches and concert events.
    • An admirer of Yegor Titov's talent was the "king of the Russian chanson" Mikhail Krug, who once presented a football player with a gold bracelet with diamonds.
    • Yegor Titov's sister Ksenia was married to footballer Alexei Vasiliev, a graduate of CSKA Moscow.

Of course, Yegor Titov's career could have had more successes with the Russian national team, a performance in a large European club (it would be interesting to see it). But it turned out the way it happened, because he did a lot.

And in some ways no one has surpassed him so far.
