    Breathing exercises

Respiratory gymnastics will strengthen the child's immunity!

Do you think this is not the case? Do you have doubts?Diseases of the respiratory system in children are too common.

In general, breathing exercises can be an excellent addition to a variety of therapies. With its help, your baby's respiratory system will develop correctly.

In addition, if the child is unwell, there is no need to stop exercising: breathing exercises will only speed up the healing process. And along the way, you will solve a number of problems, because breathing exercises:

    Improves oxygen metabolism in the body;

    Stimulates the work of the cardiovascular and digestive systems;

Helps the little man to master the basic skills of self-regulation: the baby learns to relax, calm down if he is agitated or annoyed by something.

And for breathing exercises to be useful, you must do them correctly:

    Inhalation is done through the nose; - the shoulders of the child remain calm (do not rise);

Exhale air smoothly and for a long time; - the child's cheeks should not swell (you can control them with your hands at the stage of learning the exercises).

Stop exercising immediately if your child:

    Breathes too often;

    Has turned pale or flushed;

    Complains that his arms or legs are numb;

    His hands began to tremble

Hyperventilation of the lungs may have occurred. In this case, ask the baby to fold his palms in a "boat", "dip" his face into it and take a deep breath and exhale in the palm of his hand several times (2-3 is usually enough).

I bring to your attention a game complex of breathing exercises, which we successfully use in our group, during the afternoon nap.A specially developed set of exercises will help a baby who has suffered pneumonia to quickly restore his body and not get sick again!

    Respiratory gymnastics "Swing"

Target : to strengthen the physiological respiration in children.

A child lying in the supine position is placed on the stomach in the diaphragm area with a light toy. Inhale and exhale through the nose. An adult pronounces a rhyme:

    Swing up (inhale)

    Swing down (exhale)
    Hold on tight, buddy.

Respiratory gymnastics "Tree in the wind"

IP: sitting on the floor, legs crossed (options: sitting on your knees or on your heels, legs together). The back is straight. Raise your arms up above your head with an inhalation and lower them down to the floor in front of you with an exhalation, while bending slightly in the body, as if a tree is bending.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Woodcutter"

Stand up straight with your feet slightly wider than your shoulders. As you inhale, fold your hands with a hatchet and lift them up. Sharply, as if under the weight of an ax, lower your outstretched arms down as you exhale, tilt your body, allowing your hands to "cut through" the space between your legs. Say bang. Repeat with your child six to eight times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Angry hedgehog"

Target: development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart. Imagine a hedgehog curling up into a ball in times of danger. Bend as low as possible without lifting your heels off the floor, grab your chest with your hands, lower your head, uttering "p-f-f" on the exhale - the sound made by an angry hedgehog, then "f-rr" - and this is already a happy hedgehog. Repeat with your child three to five times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Blow the ball"

    Target:

IP: the child is sitting or standing. "Inflating the ball" widely spreads his arms to the sides and inhales deeply, then slowly brings his hands together, joining his palms in front of the chest and blowing out air - fff. "The ball burst" - clap your hands, "air comes out of the ball" - the child says: "shshsh", stretching his lips with his proboscis, lowering his hands and settling like a ball from which air was released.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Leaf fall"

Target : development of a smooth, long inhalation and exhalation.

Cut out various autumn leaves from colored paper and explain to the child what leaf fall is. Invite the child to blow on the leaves so that they fly. Along the way, you can tell which leaves from which tree fell.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Geese are flying"

Walking slowly. On inhalation - raise your arms to the sides, on exhalation - lower downward with the uttering of a long sound "g-oo-oo-oo".

    Respiratory gymnastics "Fluff"

Target : the formation of the breathing apparatus.

Tie a light feather to the string. Invite your child to blow on it. Care must be taken to inhale only through the nose, and exhale through the lips folded in a tube.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Beetle"

Target: train the strength of inhalation and exhalation.

IP: the baby is standing or sitting with his arms crossed over his chest. He spreads his arms to the sides, raises his head - inhale, crosses his arms over his chest, lowers his head - exhale: "zhu-oo-oo - said the winged beetle, I'll sit and buzz".

    Respiratory gymnastics "Train"

Purpose: the formation of the respiratory apparatus.

Walking, making alternating movements with the hands and saying: "chukh-chukh-chukh." At regular intervals, you can stop and say "tu-tuuu". Duration - up to 30 seconds.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Grow Big"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

IP: standing, legs slightly apart, hands lower. Waving straight arms back and forth, pronounce "tick-tock". Repeat up to 10 times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Porridge boils»

Purpose: the formation of the respiratory apparatus.

IP: sitting, one hand rests on the stomach, the other on the chest. Pulling in the stomach and drawing air into the lungs - inhale, lowering the chest (exhaling air) and protruding the stomach - exhale. When exhaling, pronounce the sound "f-f-f-f" loudly. Repeat 3-4 times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Balloon"

Purpose: to strengthen physiological respiration in children.

IP: Lying on the floor, the child puts his hands on his stomach. Taking a slow deep breath, inflates the abdomen, while simultaneously imagining that a balloon is inflating in the abdomen. Holds breath for 5 seconds. Exhales slowly, belly deflates. Holds breath for 5 seconds. Runs 5 times in a row.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Pump"

Purpose: to strengthen physiological respiration in children.

The kid puts his hands on the belt, squats slightly - inhale, straightens - exhale. Squats gradually become lower, inhalation and exhalation are longer. Repeat 3-4 times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Regulator"

Purpose: the formation of the respiratory apparatus.

Stand straight, feet shoulder-width apart, one hand raised up, the other laid aside. Inhale through your nose, then change the position of your hands and pronounce "rrrrrr" during an extended exhalation. Repeat 5-6 times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Scissors"

Purpose: the formation of the respiratory apparatus.

    I. p. - too. Straight arms extended forward or to the sides at shoulder level, palms facing down. With an inhalation, the left hand rises up, the right falls down. With exhalation - left hand down, right up. After the child has mastered this exercise, you can change it: not the arms move from the shoulder, but only the hands.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Snowfall"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, long inhalation and exhalation.

Make paper or cotton wool snowflakes (loose lumps). Explain to the child what snowfall is and invite the child to blow "snowflakes" from the palm of his hand.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Trumpeter"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

IP: sitting, hands are clenched into a tube, raised up. Exhale slowly with a loud pronunciation of the sound "p-f-f-f-f". Repeat up to 5 times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Duel"

Purpose: to strengthen physiological respiration in children.

Roll a ball - "ball" from a piece of cotton wool. Gate - 2 dice. The child blows on the "ball", trying to "score a goal" - the cotton wool should be between the cubes. With a little exercise, you can play soccer matches with one cotton ball.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Spring"

Purpose: the formation of the respiratory apparatus.

IP: lying on your back; legs straight, arms along the body. Raise your legs and bend them at the knees, press them to your chest (exhale). Return to PI (inhale). Repeat 6-8 times.

Purpose: the development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

Sit down with your baby at the table, put two cotton balls in front of you (the multi-colored ones are easy to find in supermarkets, and the white ones are made from cotton wool yourself). Blow the balls as hard as possible, trying to blow them off the table.

Respiratory gymnastics "Blow on the dandelion"

IP: the baby is standing or sitting. He takes a deep breath through his nose, then a long exhale through his mouth, as if he wants to blow fluff off the dandelion.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Windmill"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

The child blows on the blades of a spinning toy or windmill from a sand set.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Hippos"

Purpose: to train the strength of inhalation and exhalation.

IP: lying or sitting. The child places his hand on the diaphragm and breathes deeply. Inhale and exhale through the nose.
The exercise can be performed in a sitting position and accompanied by a rhyme:

The hippos sat down and touched their tummies.

    Then the tummy rises (inhale),

Then the tummy goes down (exhalation).

    Respiratory gymnastics "Hen"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, long inhalation.

IP: the child stands straight, legs slightly apart, hands are lowered, spreads his arms wide to the sides, like wings - inhale; as he exhales, he bends down, lowering his head and hanging his arms freely, says: "takh-takh-takh", at the same time patting himself on the knees.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Soaring butterflies"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

Cut out butterflies from paper and hang them on threads. Offer the child to blow on the butterfly so that it flies (while making sure that the child makes a long, smooth exhalation).

    Respiratory gymnastics "Aist"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

Standing straight, spread your arms to the sides, and one leg, bent at the knee, bring forward. Lock the position for a few seconds. Keep your balance. As you exhale, lower your leg and arms, quietly saying "shhhhhh." Repeat with your child six to seven times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "In the forest"

Imagine that you are lost in a dense forest. After inhaling, while exhaling, say "ay". Change intonation and volume and turn left and right. Repeat with your child five to six times.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Wave"

Purpose: to train the strength of inhalation and exhalation.

IP: lying on the floor, feet together, hands at the seams. As you inhale, your hands rise above your head, touching the floor, while exhaling, they slowly return to their original position. Simultaneously with the exhalation, the child says "Vni-i-i-z". After the child has mastered this exercise, pronunciation is canceled.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Hamster"

Purpose: the development of a smooth, prolonged exhalation.

Offer the child to walk a few steps (up to 10-15), puffing out his cheeks like a hamster, then slap himself lightly on the cheeks - let the air out of his mouth and walk a little more, breathing through his nose.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Frog"

Purpose: to form correct speech breathing.

Place your feet together. Imagine how the frog jumps quickly and sharply, and repeat his jumps: crouching slightly, inhaling, jump forward. After landing, "croak". Repeat three to four times.

Respiratory gymnastics "Battle Cry of the Indians"

Purpose: to form correct speech breathing.

Invite your child to imitate the Indian battle cry: screaming softly, quickly covering and opening his mouth with his palm. This is a fun element for children and is easy to repeat. An adult can "control the volume" by showing "quieter-louder" alternately with his hand.

    Respiratory gymnastics "Pearl Divers"

Purpose: to strengthen physiological respiration in children.

It is announced that the most beautiful pearl lies on the seabed. One who knows how to hold his breath will be able to get it. A child in a standing position makes two calm breaths and two calm exhales through the nose, and with a third deep breath he closes his mouth, pinches his nose with his fingers and squats until he wants to exhale.

    I. p.: Standing, sitting, lying (as convenient at the moment). The muscles of the trunk are relaxed.

In complete silence, children listen to their own breathing and determine:

    where the air stream of air enters and where it exits;

    which part of the body moves when inhaling and exhaling (stomach, chest, shoulders or all parts - in waves);

    what kind of breathing: shallow (light) or deep;

what is the breathing rate: inhalation often occurs - exhalation or calmly with a certain interval (automatic pause); quiet, inaudible breathing or noisy.

    2. "We breathe quietly, calmly and smoothly"

Purpose: to teach children to relax and restore the body after physical exertion and emotional arousal; regulate the breathing process, concentrate attention on it in order to control the relaxation of your body and psyche.

    I. p.: Standing, sitting, lying down (it depends on the previous physical activity). If sitting, the back is straight, it is better to close your eyes.

Inhale slowly through the nose. When the chest begins to expand, stop inhaling and pause as much as possible. Then exhale smoothly through the nose. Repeat 5-10 times. The exercise is performed silently, smoothly, so that even a palm placed to the nose does not feel the stream of air when exhaling.

    3. "Breathe with one nostril"

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the muscles of the respiratory system, nasopharynx and upper respiratory tract.

    I. p.: Sitting, standing, the body is straightened, but not tense.

Close the right nostril with the index finger of the right hand. Take a quiet long breath with the left nostril (successively lower, middle, upper breathing).

As soon as the inhalation is over, open the right nostril and close the left one with the index finger of the left hand - make a quiet long exhalation through the right nostril with maximum emptying of the lungs and pulling the diaphragm up as far as possible so that a "fossa" forms in the stomach.

3-4. The same with other nostrils.

    Repeat 3-6 times.

Note. After this exercise, several times in a row with one nostril, inhale - exhale (first with that nostril, which is easier to breathe, then the other). Repeat 6-10 breathing movements with each nostril separately. Start with calm breathing and move on to deep breathing.

    4. "Balloon" (Breathe belly, lower breathing).

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the muscles of the abdominal organs, to carry out ventilation of the lower part of the lungs, to concentrate on the lower breathing.

    I. I.: lying on your back, legs are freely extended, the body is relaxed, the eyes are closed. Attention is focused on the movement of the navel: both palms are on it.

Exhale calmly the air, drawing in the stomach to the spinal column, the navel, as it were, descends.

Slow, smooth inhalation, without any effort - the stomach slowly rises up and swells like a round ball.

Slow, smooth exhalation - the stomach is slowly drawn towards the back.

    Repeat 4-10 times.

    5. "Balloon in the chest" (middle, costal breathing)

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the intercostal muscles, to concentrate their attention on their movement, carrying out ventilation of the middle sections of the lungs.

    I. p.: Lying, sitting, standing. Put your hands on the lower part of the ribs and focus on them.

Exhale slowly, evenly, squeezing the ribs of the chest with your hands.

Slowly inhale through the nose, hands feel the expansion of the chest and slowly release the clamp.

On exhalation, the chest is slowly squeezed again with two hands at the bottom of the ribs.

    Repeat 6-10 times.

Note. Abdominal muscles and shoulder girdle remain motionless. In the initial phase of learning, it is necessary to help children slightly squeeze and unclench the lower part of the rib cage as they exhale and inhale.

    6. "The balloon rises up" (upper breath)

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen and stimulate the upper respiratory tract, providing ventilation of the upper lungs.

    I. p.: Lying, sitting, standing. Put one hand between the collarbones and focus on them and the shoulders.

Inhalation and exhalation with a calm and smooth raising and lowering of the collarbones and shoulders.

    Repeat 4-8 times.

    7. "Wind" (purifying full breath).

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the respiratory muscles of the entire respiratory system, to ventilate the lungs in all departments.

    I. p.: Sitting, standing, lying. The torso is relaxed, exhale completely through the nose, drawing in the stomach and chest.

Inhale fully, protruding the belly and ribs of the chest.

Hold your breath for 3-4 seconds.

Through pursed lips, forcefully release air with several abrupt exhalations.

    Repeat 3-4 times.

Note. Exercise not only perfectly cleanses (ventilates) the lungs, but also helps to keep warm during hypothermia and relieves fatigue. Therefore, it is recommended to carry it out after physical activity as often as possible.

    8. "Rainbow, hug me"

    I. p.: Standing or in motion.

Take a full breath with your nose, spreading your arms to the sides.

Hold your breath for 3-4 seconds.

Stretching your lips in a smile, pronounce the sound "s", exhaling air and drawing in your stomach and chest. Again, direct your arms forward, then cross in front of your chest, as if hugging your shoulders: one hand goes under the armpit, the other on the shoulder.

    Repeat 3-4 times.

    9. Repeat 3-5 times the exercise "We breathe quietly, calmly and smoothly."

The purpose of this complex: Strengthen the nasopharynx, upper respiratory tract and lungs with the tension of the tone of certain muscle groups.

All exercises of the complex are performed standing or moving .

    1. "Breathe with one nostril."

Repeat the exercise "Breathe with one nostril" from the set No. 1, but with a lower dosage.

Turning the head to the right - to the left at the pace of movement. Simultaneously with each turn, inhale through the nose: short, noisy (like a hedgehog), with the tension of the muscles of the entire nasopharynx (the nostrils move and seem to be connected, the neck tenses). The exhalation is soft, arbitrary, through the half-open lips.

    Repeat 4-8 times.

Exhale fully through the nose, drawing in the abdomen and intercostal muscles.

Fold the lips into a "tube", draw in air sharply, filling all the lungs with it to overflowing.

Make a swallowing movement (as if you swallow air).

Pause for 2-3 seconds, then lift your head up and exhale through the nose smoothly and slowly.

    Repeat 4-6 times.

Shaking your head to the right - to the left, take strong breaths. The shoulders remain motionless, but when the head is tilted to the right - to the left, the ears are as close to the shoulders as possible. Make sure that the body does not turn when the head is tilted. Inhales are performed with the tension of the muscles of the entire nasopharynx. Exhalation is arbitrary.

    Repeat 4-5 times.

    5. "Blow bubbles."

When tilting the head to the chest, inhale through the nose, straining the muscles of the nasopharynx.

Raise your head up and calmly exhale air through your nose, as if blowing soap bubbles.

Without lowering your head, inhale through your nose, straining the muscles of the nasopharynx.

Exhale calmly through the nose with the head down.

    Repeat 3-5 times.

The lips are folded in a "pipe", as when pronouncing the sound "o". Stick out the tongue and also fold the "tube".

Slowly drawing in air through the "tube" of the tongue, fill all the lungs with it, inflating the abdomen and ribs of the chest.

When you finish inhaling, close your mouth. Slowly lower your head so that your chin touches your chest. Pause - 3-5 seconds. 4. Raise your head and calmly exhale air through your nose.

    Repeat 4-8 times.

Put your hands together in front of your chest, clenching your fists.

Perform forward and downward bends and, with each springy bend, take gusty breaths, the same sharp and noisy as when inflating tires with a pump (5-7 springy bends and breaths).

    Repeat 3-6 times.

Note. When inhaling, strain all the muscles of the nasopharynx.

Complication. Repeat the exercise 3 times, then bend forward - backward (large pendulum), while inhaling - exhaling. When bending forward, freely pull your hands to the floor, and when bending back, raise them to your shoulders.

With each inhalation, the muscles of the nasopharynx tense.

    Repeat 3-5 times.

    8. "We breathe quietly, calmly and smoothly."

Repeat the exercise "We breathe quietly, calmly and smoothly" from the set No. 1, but with a lower dosage.

The purpose of this complex: to strengthen the muscle tone of the entire respiratory system.

It is carried out in a playful way.

    1. "Wind on the planet." Repeat the exercise "Pump" from the complex number 2.

    2. "Planet" Sat - Nam "- answer!" (yoga breathing).

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the muscle tone of the entire trunk and all respiratory muscles.

    I. p.: Sitting with the buttocks on the heels, the toes are extended, the feet are connected, the back is straightened, the arms are raised above the head, the fingers, except for the index fingers, are intertwined, and the index fingers are connected and extended upward, like an arrow.

After the words "Planet, answer me!" children begin to sing "Sat - Nam".

    Repeat 3-5 times.

Note. To pronounce "Sat" sharply, like a whistle, pressing the stomach to the spinal column is a sharp exhalation. To pronounce "us" softly, relaxing the abdominal muscles - this is a small breath.

Breathing cycle: exhale "Sat" - pause - inhale "Nam". With the pronunciation of "sat" the muscles of the trunk are strained: legs, buttocks, abdomen, chest, shoulders, arms, fingers and toes, muscles of the face and neck; "Us" - everything relaxes.

The exercise is performed at a slow pace. After the children say "Sat - Nam" 8-10 times, the adult says: "I accepted the call signs!"

    3. "The planet breathes quietly, calmly and smoothly." Repeat the exercise "We breathe quietly, calmly and smoothly" from the set No. 1, but with a lower dosage in order to relax muscle tone.

Purpose: the same as in the exercises "We breathe quietly, calmly and smoothly", "Planet" Sat - Nam "- respond!".

Difference in performance: muscle tension on inhalation and relaxation on exhalation.

    I. p.: 3-4 times from a supine position, 3-4 times while standing.

The exercise is performed with verbal accompaniment, for example: "Aliens are waking up, tense."

Calmly exhale the air through the nose, drawing in the stomach and chest.

Inhale slowly and smoothly, filling the lungs completely.

Hold your breath, straining all the muscles and mentally saying “I am strong”.

Exhale calmly through the nose with muscle relaxation.

    Breathing simulation exercises

    1. "Trumpeter". Sitting on a chair, hands are clenched into a tube, raised up to the mouth. Exhale slowly with a loud pronunciation of the sound "p-f-f-f".

    Repeat 4-5 times.

    2. "The porridge is boiling." Sitting on a bench, one hand rests on the stomach, the other on the chest. By protruding the stomach and drawing air into the chest (inhaling air) and drawing in the stomach - exhale. When exhaling, loud pronunciation of the sound "shh-shh".

    Repeat 1-5 times.

    3. "On the horizontal bar". Standing, feet together, hold the gymnastic stick in both hands in front of you. Raise the stick up, rise on toes - inhale, lower the stick back onto the shoulder blades - long exhale with the pronunciation of the sound "f-f-f".

    Repeat 3-4 times.

    4. "Partisans". Standing, stick (gun) in hand. Walking with knees raised high. 2 steps - inhale, 6-8 steps - exhale with an arbitrary pronunciation of the word "t-sh-sh-e".

    Repeat 1, 5 min.

    5. "Semaphore". Sitting, the legs are moved together, raising the arms to the sides and slowly lowering them down with a long exhalation and the pronunciation of the sound "s-s-s".

    Repeat 3-4 times.

    6. "Regulator". Standing, legs are shoulder-width apart, one hand is raised up, the other is laid to the side. Inhale through the nose, then change the position of the hands with an elongated exhalation and the pronunciation of the sound "rrr".

    Repeat 4-5 times.

    7. "Balls are flying." Standing, hands with the ball are raised up. Throw the ball forward from the chest, pronounce a long "wow-x-x" while exhaling.

    Repeat 5-6 times.

    8. "Skier". Imitation of skiing. Exhale through the nose with the pronunciation of the zuke "mmm".

    Repeat for 1, 5-2 minutes.

    9. "Pendulum". Standing, legs apart shoulder-width apart, hold the stick behind your back at the level of the lower corners of the shoulder blades. Tilt the torso to the sides, right and left. When bending to the sides - inhale with the pronunciation of the sound "tu-oo-oo-oo-oo-x-x".

Repeat 3-4 tilts in each direction.

    10. "Geese are flying." Walking slowly around the hall. On inhalation - raise your arms to the sides. On exhalation - lower it down with the uttering of a long sound "gu-oo-oo".

    Repeat for 1-2 minutes.

    Breathing exercises for children

Diseases of the respiratory system in children are fairly common pathologies. Treatment with drugs is not always justified, in addition, medications have many side effects. In such a situation, breathing exercises for children can help the baby and his parents.

Benefits of breathing exercises for children

Although breathing exercises for children consist of simple exercises, many families have experienced its beneficial effects on the health of the child. This is due to the fact that during breathing exercises for children, the blood is actively saturated with oxygen. As a result, the work of the cardiovascular system, brain, lungs, nervous system, and digestive organs improves.

Performing exercises for breathing exercises for children is an excellent prevention of respiratory diseases. Such gymnastics strengthens the child's immunity, develops the baby's still not quite perfect respiratory system. Breathing exercises have proven especially effective in children who suffer from bronchial asthma, bronchitis, and frequent colds. Respiratory gymnastics is often prescribed by doctors in addition to drug and physiotherapy treatment of diseases of the respiratory system. Its use greatly facilitates the course of the disease, reduces the risk of complications.

There are few contraindications to breathing exercises for children, but they still exist. Such gymnastics is not recommended for those children who have severe osteochondrosis of the spine in the cervicothoracic region, spinal or brain trauma, high arterial, ocular or intracranial pressure, frequent bleeding. It is best to consult with your doctor about which breathing exercises for children are right for your child.

How to properly carry out breathing exercises?

With the help of breathing exercises, the child is taught to breathe correctly - when inhaling, fill the lungs with air as much as possible, expanding the chest, and while exhaling, free the lungs from residual air, literally pushing it out by squeezing the lungs. Indeed, in the case when the child does not make a full exhalation, a little exhaust air remains in the lungs. This air prevents the supply of fresh air in the required amount.

Experts recommend doing breathing exercises for children twice a day. After the last meal, at least an hour should pass. You can perform breathing exercises at the beginning of a set of physical exercises, morning exercises. And you can practice breathing separately.

It is very important to keep the child interested, as at the beginning breathing exercises may seem boring and difficult to him. You can give funny or funny names to exercises, conduct activities in a playful way, use your favorite toys when performing exercises.

In the warm season, breathing exercises for children are best done outdoors. In the cold season, before starting classes, you should ventilate the room.

It is important to monitor the baby while performing breathing exercises so as not to miss the symptoms of hyperventilation of the lungs, such as discoloration of the face, rapid breathing, tingling sensations in the limbs, tremors of the hands. If such signs appear, the lesson must be stopped.

If the child starts to feel dizzy while doing the exercises, do the following: put the palms together with a "ladle", bring them to the face and the baby breathes deeply into them several times. Then you can continue breathing exercises.

A set of breathing exercises for children

When doing breathing exercises, certain rules should be followed:

    • when inhaling, the shoulders should not rise;
    • inhale through the nose;
    • the cheeks should not puff up, in the first lessons you can hold them with your hands;
    • exhalation should be smooth and prolonged.

A complex of breathing exercises for children from 2 to 4 years old.

Exercise 1. "Balloon". The child lies on his back, hands on his stomach. On inhalation, it slowly inflates the tummy-ball, on exhalation - the tummy-ball slowly deflates.

Exercise 2. "Wave". The baby lies on his back, arms along the body, legs together. Inhale - hands are raised up and back, touching the floor. Exhale - the hands return to their starting position, while the child says: "Vni-i-i-z".

Exercise 3. "Watch". The kid is standing, hands are lowered, feet are shoulder-width apart. Depicting a clock, the child waves his straight arms back and forth, saying "Tick-tock."

Exercise 4. "Diver". The child must imagine that he is going down under the water at sea. A deep breath is taken, the breath is held for as long as possible.

Exercise 5. "Train". The child depicts a steam locomotive. For this, he walks, making alternating movements with his hands, while saying: "Chukh-chukh-chukh." Then he stops and says: "Tu-tu-tuuu."

Exercise 6. Grow Big. The kid stands upright with his legs together. Hands are raised to the sides and up. Inhale - stand up on your toes, stretch well. Exhale - hands down, falls on the foot, while saying: "Uhhhh".

These exercises should be performed 4-6 times each. If the child is tired, take a short break.

The following can be added to the exercises above.

Exercise 1. "Hamster". The child pretends to be a hamster - puffs out his cheeks and so goes a few steps. Then he turns around, slaps himself on the cheeks, letting out air.

Exercise 2. "Rose and Dandelion". The child is standing upright. A deep breath in through the nose - "sniffs the rose", exhale - letting out the air as much as possible, "blowing on the dandelion."

Exercise 3. "Crow". The kid stands with his arms down and his legs slightly apart. Inhale - the arms are spread wide to the sides (wings), exhale - the arms are slowly lowered, the child says: "Karrrrr".

Exercise 4. "Chicken". The kid sits on a chair with his hands down. A quick breath - the hands are raised with the palms up to the armpits (wings). Exhale - the arms drop, turning the palms down.

    Respiratory gymnastics for a child

With the help of these exercises, not only your child will improve his health, he will be in a good mood and breathe deeply, but you will also breathe a sigh of relief with him. With the regular performance of such gymnastics, colds will bypass your child!

Breathing exercises - these exercises are simply necessary for children who quite often suffer from colds, bronchitis, recovering from pneumonia, children suffering from bronchial asthma. Respiratory gymnastics perfectly complements any treatment (medication, homeopathic, physiotherapeutic), develops the child's still imperfect respiratory system, strengthens the body's defenses.

    Correct breathing.

Another prerequisite for proper development, good growth is the ability to breathe correctly. Correct breathing can be easily taught to a child. Nine out of ten children breathe incorrectly and for this reason do not feel well. A child who cannot breathe correctly can be recognized immediately: narrow shoulders, weak chest, mouth open, movements are nervous.

The essence of breathing is to let air into the lungs and oxygenate the blood in the pulmonary alveoli. Breathing splits into two acts: inhalation, during which the chest expands and air enters the lungs; and exhalation - the chest returns to its normal volume, the lungs contract and push the air in them.

Your task is to teach your child how to cleanse the lungs well. If he does not exhale completely, then a fair amount of spoiled air remains in the depths of the lungs, and the blood receives little oxygen. By teaching your child to breathe through the nose, you will help him get rid of frequent colds, flu, sore throats, etc.

It is necessary to teach the child to breathe fully so that he expands the chest and develops the abdominal muscles. Show how to suck in the belly while breathing, make it flat and sunken.

Playing with a rose and a dandelion will help you understand what breathing is. Let him smell the flower (mouth closed, nostrils open). Many children sniff, not sniff. Help make the difference. Then let it blow on the dandelion: first with your mouth, so that he sees how the grains fly away, then with your nose (alternately pressing one nostril to the bridge of the nose, then the other).

You can continue the game: make the paper mill spin, blow out the candle. These exercises are also performed alternately (mouth and nose). Children are very happy with soap bubbles - also a useful activity for the development of proper breathing.

While walking in the park, outside the city, in the forest, by the river, show how you can feel the wonderful taste of clean air, slowly inhaling it through your nose. Then force the exhausted air to be completely removed from the lungs. Simultaneously develop receptivity: “What are you feeling? Color, smell of grass or wet autumn leaves? "

    Respiratory gymnastics for children.

It would be nice to do "stretching" gymnastics while walking. Throw a small rug over the grass.

Exercise 1. Get on your knees, press your buttocks to your heels, raise your hands up. The child should slowly lower his arms and torso forward until the palms and forehead touch the ground. Without lifting your buttocks from your heels, stretch your arms as far as possible, pull your back.

Exercise 2. Lie on your back, arms along the body. Stretch your right arm and left leg diagonally, stretch; then - left arm and right leg, stretch again. Repeat several times.

Exercise 3. Get on all fours, take your straight right leg back as high as possible, straighten it, pull it. Do the same with the left. Repeat several times. Between repetitions, you can ask your baby to "bend like a kitty."

Exercise 4. Get up, walk on tiptoes, raising your hands up. Control your baby's breathing. Then ask to raise your arms alternately, trying to stretch out as high as possible.

Explain to your baby that he not only breathed, but also helped himself grow. It would be nice to make such walks systematic (by the way, breathing exercises will not only not interfere with you, but will also return the expended strength).

How to relieve a child of a cough using breathing exercises

Children have a highly developed cough center, so they are often tormented by coughs. To prevent this, you need to strengthen the respiratory tract from early childhood and it is better to do it playfully!

You can blow on dandelions, blow off feathers from your palm. A very useful toy for the development of lungs is a whistle, especially since there are a great many varieties of whistles, so that the child will not get bored. A very addicting game to blow through a cocktail tube into a glass of water. The child is blowing, the water is bubbling - fun and useful, not only for strengthening the respiratory tract, but also for the development of the speech apparatus. Older children can inflate balloons. But remember that breathing exercises are very tiring and can cause dizziness, so you should not do them for more than 5-10 minutes.

In order to help the child quickly cope with the cough, I offer you a game complex of breathing exercises (for children from 2 years old). This complex develops respiratory muscles, speech apparatus, coordination of movements, muscles of the arms and spine, promotes correct rhythmic breathing and pronunciation of sounds.

Best done before breakfast or after dinner.

So, ventilate the room and get started.

Let the baby take a deep breath through the nose, inflate the "cheeks - bubbles" and exhale slowly through the slightly open mouth. Repeat 2-3 times.

The kid puts his hands on the belt, squats slightly - inhale, straightens - exhale. Squats gradually become lower, inhalation and exhalation are longer. Repeat 3-4 times.

    Exercise 3. SPEAKER.

You ask questions, the kid answers.

How does a locomotive speak? Tu - tu - tu - tu.

How does the machine hum? BBC BBC

How does the dough “breathe”? Puff - puff - puff.

You can also sing vowel sounds: o-o-o-o-ooo, oo-oo-oo-oo-oo.

Tell the poem, and let the baby perform the movements in the rhythm of the verse:

Airplane - airplane (baby spreads his arms to the sides, palms up, raises his head, inhale)

    Goes flying (holds his breath)

Zhu-zhu-zhu (makes a turn to the right)

    Zhu-zhu-zhu (exhale, pronounces zhu-zhu)

I will stand and rest (stands up straight, hands down)

I'll fly to the left (raises his head, inhale)

Zhu - zhu - zhu (turns left)

    Zhu-zhu-zhu (exhale, zh-zh-zh)

The mouse goes to visit the bear (walk on socks)

    He won't get to her.

    Repeat 3-4 times.

I am a strong wind, I am flying

I fly wherever I want (hands down, legs slightly apart, inhale through my nose)

Respiratory gymnastics will strengthen the baby's immunity.

Protecting a child from colds is not an easy task. Microbes and viruses now and then overwhelm the little man and undermine the still fragile immunity. What to do? Run to the doctor and give the baby pills or resort to grandmother's recipes? Neither one nor the other is needed if you do breathing exercises with your baby. After all, everyone knows that breathing is life.

Hardly anyone will object to the truth of this statement. Indeed, if the body can do without solid food for several months, without water - for several days, then without air - only a few minutes.

Since breathing is a priority, it is natural that many people master this process perfectly. This ability, given at birth and developed during life, helps to do wonders with your body, including getting rid of diseases, which has long been proven by Indian yogis.

It is known that when a person breathes through the mouth, the oral mucosa quickly dries up, and thirst appears. In addition, infections are easier to get into the respiratory tract - the larynx, trachea and bronchi.

In order not to get sick, you need to learn how to breathe correctly. There are many types of breathing exercises, including exercises adapted for children. The following hilarious guidelines will teach you and your toddler respiratory self-defense.

    1. Big and small

Standing straight, while inhaling, the child stands on tiptoe, stretches up with his hands, showing how big he is. Fix this position for a few seconds. On exhalation, the child should lower his hands down, then sit down, clasping his knees with his hands and at the same time saying “wow”, hide his head behind his knees - showing how small he is.

Walk around the room, imitating the movements of the wheels of a steam locomotive with bent arms, while pronouncing "chukh-chukh" and changing the speed of movement, volume and frequency of pronunciation. Repeat with your child five to six times.

Walk slowly and smoothly across the room, flapping your arms like wings. Raise your arms while inhaling, lower them while exhaling, saying "g-y-y". Repeat with your child eight to ten times.

Standing straight, spread your arms to the sides, and one leg, bent at the knee, bring forward. Lock the position for a few seconds. Keep your balance. As you exhale, lower your leg and arms, quietly saying "shhhhhh." Repeat with your child six to seven times.

Stand with feet together, arms up. Rotate slowly with straight arms, uttering "g-rr" as you exhale. As the movements accelerate, the sounds become louder. Repeat with your child seven to eight times.

Place your feet shoulder-width apart, hands locked behind your back, body tilted forward. Imitating the movements of the skater, bend either the left or the right leg, pronouncing "krr". Repeat with your child five to six times.

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart. Imagine a hedgehog curling up into a ball in times of danger. Bend as low as possible without lifting your heels off the floor, grab your chest with your hands, lower your head, uttering “p-f-f” as you exhale - the sound made by an angry hedgehog, then “f-rr” - and this is already a happy hedgehog. Repeat with your child three to five times.

Place your feet together. Imagine how the frog jumps quickly and sharply, and repeat his jumps: crouching slightly, inhaling, jump forward. After landing, "croak". Repeat three to four times.

Imagine that you are lost in a dense forest. After inhaling, while exhaling, say "ay". Change intonation and volume and turn left and right. Repeat with your child five to six times.

As you exhale, say "zzz". Imagine that the bee sat on the nose (direct the sound and gaze to the nose), on the hand, on the leg. Thus, the child learns to direct attention to a specific area of the body.

Sit on the floor with your legs folded in front of you, foot to foot. Place your hands on the inner sides of your knees, which are pressed to the floor. Draw in a full chest of air, straighten your shoulders, proudly lift your head up, as you exhale, lower yourself down, press your head against your feet.

    Appendix 2.

Respiratory gymnastics card file for middle group.

    Complex number 1

    1. "Let's listen to our breathing"

Purpose: to teach children to listen to their breathing, to determine the type of breathing, its depth,

frequency and by these signs - the state of the organism.

    I. p.: Standing, sitting, lying (as convenient at the moment). The muscles of the trunk are relaxed.

In complete silence, children listen to their own breathing and determine:

    where the air stream of air enters and where it exits;

which part of the body moves when inhaling and exhaling (abdomen, chest, shoulders, or all

    parts - wavy);

    what kind of breathing: shallow (light) or deep;

what is the breathing rate: often inhalation occurs - exhalation or calmly with a certain

interval (automatic pause); quiet, inaudible breathing or noisy.

    2. "We breathe quietly, calmly and smoothly"

Purpose: to teach children to relax and restore the body after physical activity and

emotional excitement; regulate the breathing process, focus attention on it

in order to control the relaxation of your body and psyche.

    I. p.: Standing, sitting, lying (it depends on the previous physical activity). If sitting, back

even, it is better to close your eyes.

Inhale slowly through the nose. When the chest begins to expand, stop inhaling and take

pause, whoever can. Then exhale smoothly through the nose. Repeat 5-10 times. The exercise

performed silently, smoothly, so that even the palm placed to the nose does not feel the stream

    air when exhaled.

    3. "Breathe with one nostril"

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the muscles of the respiratory system, nasopharynx and upper respiratory

    I. p.: Sitting, standing, the body is straightened, but not tense.

Close the right nostril with the index finger of the right hand. Do quiet with the left nostril

prolonged inhalation (successively lower, middle, upper breathing).

As soon as the inhalation is over, open the right nostril, and close the left nostril with the index finger with the left

hands - through the right nostril, make a quiet long exhalation with maximum

emptying the lungs and pulling the diaphragm upward as much as possible so that in the abdomen

    a "pit" was formed.

3-4. The same with other nostrils.

    Repeat 3-6 times.

Note. After this exercise several times in a row with one nostril, inhale - exhale

(first with that nostril, which is easier to breathe, then the other). Repeat 6-10 breaths

movements of each nostril separately. Start with calm breathing and move on to deep breathing.

    4. "Balloon" (Breathe belly, lower breathing).

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the muscles of the abdominal organs, to carry out ventilation

the lower part of the lungs, concentrate on the lower breathing.

    I. and. : lying on the back, legs are freely extended, the torso is relaxed, the eyes are closed. Attention

concentrated on the movement of the navel: both palms rest on it.

Exhale calmly the air, drawing in the stomach to the spinal column, the navel, as it were, descends.

Slow, smooth inhalation, without any effort - the stomach slowly rises up and

    swells like a round ball.

Slow, smooth exhalation - the stomach is slowly drawn towards the back.

    Repeat 4-10 times.

    5. "Balloon in the chest" (middle, costal breathing)

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the intercostal muscles, to focus their attention on their

movement, carrying out ventilation of the middle sections of the lungs.

    I. p.: Lying, sitting, standing. Put your hands on the lower part of the ribs and concentrate on them

    Attention.

Exhale slowly, evenly, squeezing the ribs of the chest with your hands.

Slowly inhale through the nose, hands feel the expansion of the chest and slowly

    release the clamp.

On exhalation, the chest is slowly squeezed again with two hands at the bottom of the ribs.

    Repeat 6-10 times.

Note. The muscles of the abdomen and shoulder girdle remain motionless. In the initial phase

learning, it is necessary to help children slightly squeeze and unclench the lower

part of the ribs of the chest.

    6. "The balloon rises up" (upper breath)

Objective: To teach children to strengthen and stimulate the upper respiratory tract, providing

    ventilation of the upper lungs.

    I. p.: Lying, sitting, standing. Put one hand between the collarbones and focus on

    them and shoulders.

Inhalation and exhalation with a calm and smooth raising and lowering of the collarbones and shoulders.

    Repeat 4-8 times.

    7. "Wind" (cleansing full breath).

Purpose: to teach children to strengthen the respiratory muscles of the entire respiratory system, exercise

ventilation of the lungs in all departments.

    I. p.: Sitting, standing, lying. The torso is relaxed, exhale completely through the nose, drawing in

    stomach, chest.

Inhale fully, protruding the belly and ribs of the chest.

Hold your breath for 3-4 seconds.

Through pursed lips, forcefully release air with several abrupt exhalations.

    Repeat 3-4 times.

Note. Exercise not only perfectly cleanses (ventilates) the lungs, but also helps

keep warm with hypothermia and relieves fatigue. Therefore, it is recommended to carry it out after

physical activity as often as possible.

    8. "Rainbow, hug me"

    Purpose: the same.

    I. p.: Standing or in motion.

    Repeat 3-6 times.

Note. When inhaling, strain all the muscles of the nasopharynx.

Complication. Repeat the exercise 3 times, then bend forward - backward (large pendulum),

while inhaling - exhaling. Hands when bending forward freely pull to the floor, and when bending

back to raise to the shoulders.

With each inhalation, the muscles of the nasopharynx tense.

    Repeat 3-5 times.

    Improves oxygen metabolism in the body;

    Stimulates the work of the cardiovascular and digestive systems;

Helps the little man to master the basic skills of self-regulation: the baby learns to relax, calm down if he is agitated or annoyed by something.

And for breathing exercises to be useful, you must do them correctly:

    Inhalation is done through the nose; - the shoulders of the child remain calm (do not rise);

Exhale air smoothly and for a long time; - the child's cheeks should not swell (you can control them with your hands at the stage of learning the exercises).

Stop exercising immediately if your child:

    Breathes too often;

    Has turned pale or flushed;

    Complains that his arms or legs are numb;

    His hands began to tremble

Hyperventilation of the lungs may have occurred. In this case, ask the baby to fold his palms in a "boat", "dip" his face into it and take a deep breath and exhale in the palm of his hand several times (2-3 is usually enough).

    Respiratory gymnastics "Swing"

Target : to strengthen the physiological respiration in children.

    Respiratory gymnastics complexes

Raising a healthy child is one of the most important tasks of a family and a preschool educational institution. Parents often have health questions. What are the ways and means to develop a conscious attitude to their health in a preschooler?

There is currently an increase in the number of children preschool age with various deviations in health, lagging in physical development, a decrease in the body's resistance to harmful environmental factors, including infectious and viral diseases. According to research data, the proportion of frequently ill children in the first six years of life ranges from 20-25%, that is, every fourth to fifth child is often ill.
Such children with great efforts in comparison with healthy ones overcome difficulties in assimilating knowledge. With more significant psychophysiological costs, they cope with the requirements imposed on them, provided for by the conditions of life and education in a preschool institution.
The problem of raising a healthy child facing us has been and remains the most urgent, and in this regard, there is a need to search for effective ways to strengthen the health of the child, correct deficiencies physical development, prevention of diseases and increase in physical activity.
Along with the generally accepted measures, respiratory gymnastics is an effective prevention of reducing the incidence of episodically ill children.
Breathing exercises help oxygenate every cell in the body. The ability to control breathing contributes to the ability to control oneself.
In addition, proper breathing stimulates the work of the heart, brain and nervous system, relieves a person from many diseases, improves digestion (before food is digested and assimilated, it must absorb oxygen from the blood and oxidize).
A slow exhalation helps to relax, calm down, and cope with anxiety and irritability.
Respiratory gymnastics develops the child's still imperfect respiratory system, strengthens the body's defenses and has a number of advantages. It is based on nasal breathing. It is not by chance, therefore, that yogis warn: if children do not breathe through their noses, they will not receive enough mental development, because nasal breathing stimulates the nerve endings of all organs located in the nasopharynx. And our task is to learn and teach children to breathe correctly.
The use of physical exercises aimed at preventing colds, improving the functions of the upper respiratory tract, we recommend using in all groups.
Breathing exercises can be done during morning exercises, gymnastics after waking up or for a walk.
At first, breathing exercises seem to be one of the most difficult for children. And the more important it is to help children by turning boring exercises into a fun game.
The main part of respiratory gymnastics consists of exercises with an extended and enhanced exhalation. This can be achieved by pronouncing vowel sounds (ah-ah, u-u-u, o-o-o), hissing consonants (w, z) and a combination of sounds (ah, ooh, yh). It is recommended to carry out these breathing exercises in a playful way ("the bee is buzzing", "the steamer is buzzing", "the wheels of the train are knocking", etc.). It is necessary to gradually increase the load on children by increasing the number of repetitions and making the exercises more difficult.
6 sets of classes are offered. To increase children's interest in them, a small poem is selected for each exercise.
